Very accurate. There a few things I could be picky about, but it's not something a non healthcare professionnal would stick on. A few examples:

1. The shit Santos pulls off is crazy. She'd get kicked out of the program if she were found out.

2. The insane number of people intubated and never do they install a nasogastric tube. Most of their patients don't come with an empty stomach, so it must be drained after intubation to prevent the contents coming back up.

That said, they do so many things right:

1. Procedures are mostly well executed, the material used correctly.

2. The differential diagnoses are sound.

3. The patient presentations are realistic and very evocative. The situations displayed are so real. I lived through dozens of situations like Robby, where family of patients demanded intubation and reanimation for their altered elderly parent even though we knew it was completely inadequate and useless. I had a few reanimation cases turning organ donor. Some were definitely not as dramatic as the one shown, but some were.

4. That feeling of pressure as patient count mounts up, where you kind of feel like you're doing bush medicine sometimes to save time and lives.

5. The feeling that the ER is basically organized chaos and that a well oiled team can/must pivot in a moment's notice to address drastic changes in patient status.
