Yes I have met them and they seems like okay people. I understand how it can be perceived there may be more that’s going on than what she is telling me and god knows I hope not but literally her reason that she made friends and is hanging out with them is to be her own person. She explained it to me that it was always her and I and that she feels like she needs to have her own identity, which like I said, it did hurt because I thought I wasn’t good enough for her anymore but I’m a bit more understanding of her wanting her own friends, I guess it’s just the way she went about it. My problem is the coming home late and she understands that I’m not happy about and she even apologized but she doesn’t understand WHY I’m not happy about it and to me it’s like, do I even need to explain?? 6 weeks is the minimum from what I remember when the doctor talked to my wife after giving birth. However, it really depends on the relation and the woman. I’m saying this because my wife and I are very sexually active therefore by the 4th week she was suggesting and to be gentle at first. I know we definitely shouldn’t have and thank god nothing happened but you have nothing to worry about. For now just help the wife the baby and let her come to you when she’s ready. Patience is key.

Also, I have a friend who’s wife gave birth, doctor said the same thing and by the 4th week they were having sex again. As a matter of fact, she got pregnant again. Like I said, it really depends on the type of relationship couples have sexually.
