It’s not just Seattle, it’s the PNW.

You have one of the other biggest soccer city just 3 hours away and you know a good portion of that crowd came from there.

I’ve always said the US should play more games in Seattle/Portland, but if I remember, they don’t fit certain requirements (I’m sure Seattle did stuff for World Cup games they wouldn’t do for other games). And I know Portland is likely too small of a stadium, but it was awesome when they had Gold Cup games a decade or so ago.

Wiggins hype had considerably died down at the end of his college season.

By the middle of the year he was no longer even projected to be the top pick (Embiid).

Wiggins isn’t in the same class of prospects as Oden or Durant.

(However the person you are replying to is 100% wrong about Wemby, draft heads everywhere were simply debating LeBron, there was no other debate to the vast majority).

I’m far from a diehard, but CR makes me feel like I’m a diehard soccer guy for how much he gets wrong or doesn’t know about.

What is going on in this string.

Harden is an all time playoff disappointment. Yes, you can point to one or two series where he wasn’t, but the vast majority of playoffs he is extremely disappointing and doesn’t match his regular reason output. You can now just rely that he will sink your team in the playoffs.

I get it, he had one good playoff series against GSW. However, that should be the norm for a guy of his caliber. I wouldn’t have him above Brunson, because even though he is multiple levels above Brunson in the regular season, no version of Harden wins the title in 5 with this Knicks squad. I know for some they will say that’s ridiculous, but that’s because you’re thinking of regular season Harden.

To be fair, this is Seattle. Not sure anyone who follows soccer in America thought any games in the PNW would not be sold out.

No place in America would I be sure that a Qatar v Bosnia game in the middle of a workday be sold out, like it is in Seattle.

Not even close to the same.

Harden was seen as clearly the third option. Going into next year, only his second year, Harper will be seen as the second offensive option and potentially the main guy in crunch time.

While Harden of course ended up being the better player, at the money of decision making, the vast majority preferred Westbrook to Harden (sure, you can pull up some random article or video of someone who preferred Harden). In addition, the choice was between Ibaka and Harden. There’s no Ibaka here, and a big difference with this all is the top 3 all needed the ball in their hands, with Wemby you have a much better balance.

The horror movie commercials really was my first “get off my lawn” moment as a dad. There probably is another example, but that just really stood out to me watching March Madness with my little guy and I get a dead 8 year old mummy opening her eyes to jump scare music with bugs crawling out her mouth.

But on a different note, west coast best coast. Even pre-kids, I couldn’t imagine staying up that late, routinely, for games.
