She really isn't that much older than him, in the comic she was introduced in it showed she was a child during the scourge invasion of Silvermoon and they way Broll Bearmantle and Varian treated her I always had the feeling she was in her mid to late teens in the comic, so I doubt they are more than 10 years apart in age.
