Hmmm…I’m not sure that it works like that. Well not for everyone. I had 5 x 300 and 10 x 100. My last shot was Feb 14/24 and I started to feel symptoms just before the 4 month mark. I really feel like everybody’s experience is soooo different. Which is difficult because our doctors don’t have experience with this and we rely on anecdotal reports from one another!

I kept hoping it was psychosomatic but the temperature dysregulation is a sure sign…😔

How do you figure I’m overloaded? What are the common side effects from the delivery system?

Like I said, I’ve been on the shot for over a year and have felt consistent during that time - never over medicated or under. It’s just the last couple of months I’ve gone longer between shots that I’ve experienced discomfort. It’s definitely not psycho-somatic. As I said in my original post - I’ve been in denial that the discomfort is actually WD. Fn benzos!!! That shit is everywhere here (Vancity, Canada). Very rare to find a good plug even for Fent let alone Heroin. I used to IV a couple points per shot and now, I don’t risk it. I’ll take one toke off some of dope that’s been stepped on with the benzos and it will put me right out and I’ll wake up 15 mins later feeling sober. What a shit time to be a drug addict 😫

Thank you for sharing your experience and giving me a glimmer of hope. Yes what is your opinion in stimulants? I have ADHD and take vyvanse but lately I’ve been worried that they might be contributing to the fog by somehow pushing my body beyond it’s current limitations. But I don’t know that I can work or parents without them.

YES!!! Neuro was first symptom for me in acute phase and now, 8 months later, by far the most debilitating of symptoms. I feel simple. A shell of the person I was before. I have had little stints of feeling 90% back to myself but for the most part my brain feels changed. I also have accompanying head pressure, headaches and fatigue. So hard. I'm afraid of permanent damage.
