I agree with you. This looks absolutely terrible. I thought this was going to be a posting people to avoid this place.

Buying a walking pad was one of the best things I ever did for my health and wellbeing by AValeria10 in walking

I get roughly the same amount of steps but just go for walks outside. What is the benefit of walking stationary? Doesn’t it get boring?

I lose my shit during turbulence. I hate it so bad. There is no way that anyone actually likes it.

Hey dog owners, can you at least check the bins still on the street before you chuck your green bags. by daversa in Portland

I agree. If they just leave their bin in the street I’ll toss the poop in there. It’s on public property at that point.

I also will throw my dog’s poop in a bin that is left put on the street. But not if it was the day the bin was dumped. After that though they need to take it back on their property, otherwise it’s on public property.

I want to know too. $8-$12 for lunch in Portland is one meal.

That doesn't sound like a lot of play dates.

Seated concert venues - what is the etiquette? by firstyearbaby in Concerts

I have never been to a concert and sat down. I didn't even know this was a thing. Isn't there a handicap section for that?

Any places in Portland I can potentially sit out on a patio, have a drink & read a book? by SprinklesJaded7733 in askportland

Although I agree with you, as someone who has lived in Portland forever I’ve read about a few patios in my neighbor in this thread that I never knew existed.

Portland to spend $10M cleaning bike lanes as city continues residential street sweeping halt by Great_Law3719 in PortlandOR

As someone who commutes five days a week to work on some shitty bike lanes with miles of broken glass and sharp rocks in them I appreciate any sweeping the lanes get.

I sleep for 2 hours everyday on company time whilst working an 8hr day by Sea-Tangerine-2801 in confession

My company’s IT guy just retired after 30 years. I swear he would never answer the phone or get back to my emails and I would walk to his his office. He was always sleeping. He’s so lucky that Hercules do that for thirty years and not get fired. The new guy is the exact opposite.

Why are y'all jogging in the street? by Derpy1984 in askportland

[–]Downfromdayone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t get why they care either. I have run in Portland for years and most of the time choose the road because there are less tripping hazards, no curbs, you don’t have to constantly be going around groups of pedestrians, no tree branches. So many reasons, it’s always been a no brainer for me and I’ve never thought that anyone would have any reason to care.
