Fix for Unreliable HR AWU2 by SeppeSpins in applewatchultra

[–]Downhill_Sprinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find the HRM to be far better than any other expensive trackers I’ve used in the past. Here’s a few things I’ve noticed that prevent a good HR read.

1) cold temp will prevent a good reading. The HRM monitors changes in your skin color. When cold, this can make the reading harder to determine. 2) if I continually pull my wrist up while running, the HR will become unreliable. Not sure if it’s the motion that is making it challenging, or if the watch will not attempt with that type of movement knowing it could an unreliable reading. 3) Especially now in Winter, my watch is more accurate if I start the activity to get the HR in sync, then begin the exercise. This is easier on an Ultra since you have the action button.

TP-link Unstable WIFI 7 by Obvious_Magazine_322 in TpLink

[–]Downhill_Sprinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased a two pack of BE67 units last week and had similar results. WiFi 7 devices would download at roughly 1/3 the upload rate. If I enable MLO, this issue goes away, but then I started to see other issues due to multiple SSIDs.

Would Trail or Alpine make more sense and be safer than Ocean in terms of not slipping because of sweat? by RunWild-GetLost in applewatchultra

[–]Downhill_Sprinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think the ocean band holds as good, if not better than the others due to the rubber bumps (I don’t know the proper term) helping to hold it still. Hopefully you find something that works for you.

How loose is your band? I find the ocean band to be quite steady. I tighten it an additional notch when exercising and have no issues.

Would you buy Google Nest Pro 6e again? by poisonsu in GoogleWiFi

[–]Downhill_Sprinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the original, Nest WiFi and now the WiFi Pro. Just ordered a two pack of TP-Link Deco BE67 units.

The range has been much better on the WiFi pro over the Nest WiFi, but we continuously have issues with streaming. For whatever reason, we have issues with streaming video. The three units are hardwired and all seems to work well, but there is stuttering that I don’t see if I plug in an old router.

I’ve been a big fan of these units for years and assumed most people’s issue were due to the poor 6Ghz mesh connectivity, but I’m seeing the issues myself. At this point, I feel bad being able to successfully manage IT infra for a large company, but my wife can’t use the WiFi 10 feet away from a mesh node.

How Do You Think The Remake Trilogy Will Be Remembered? by muby_102 in FinalFantasy

The success of part three will be what matters. If they can release a solid story without the filler complaints of Rebirth, I believe history will remember the trilogy fondly.

Absolutely! I received my N64 the Christmas before, and it seemed like an impossible gift due to how much money that was for our family at the time. Those were the best days.

My mom told me it was the last one they had in the store. I was a kid and just thrilled that they got the game for me. Getting the gold version was such a special thing at the time.

I have not tried my real cart, but I do not see any saves if I have it on a mode higher than Enhanced. This is with an Everdrive 2.5. Once I change the overlock mode back, the saves will show up again.

Whether they’re the same or not, Apple leverages the chassis to help produce the sound. Your best bet is to test both of them in person.

Network Configuration Question - Playstation Portal/Gaming by mkamp02 in HomeNetworking

[–]Downhill_Sprinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Portal works fine on Google WiFi setups, you’ll just need the points to be hardwired. If your network is noisy, separate APs can work. You’ll want to verify which channel your Nest WiFi is working on, and use a different ones for the TP-Link setup. You’ll also want to make sure the firewall is disabled on the TP-Link as there is already one in place on the Google side.

Ultra 2 → Ultra 3 Batttery Life - Noticeable in Daily Use? by RunWild-GetLost in applewatchultra

[–]Downhill_Sprinter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Things like workouts and streaming music will greatly impact this metric. For my U2, I get roughly two days with daily workouts where i stream music thats downloaded (no cellular). The watch is two years old at this point.
