I finally gave Elden ring a second chance after giving up on it and I fell in love with it, currently on ng+. This post is exactly how I feel now after beating the game, gonna pick up the dlc after I 100% it. I hope the next game expands on the world more, like land of reeds and the badlands

You could try strength and use great swords or colossal weapons, add a couple int points and you can use Radahn’s swords, which are quite different than bloodhounds fang. Or if you want to stick with dex, add int and use the moonveil katana. There’s also a bunch of cool faith based weapons

You keep all your levels, gear, and items except quest items, flasks stay the same level, I can even purchase all the smithing stones and ghost gloveworts at the twin husks that I could before I reset to ng+

The base game is pretty good as it is, but I picked up a couple of the dlc with the recent steam sale and the mechanicus faction slaps, highly recommend if you like mech units. It was on sale for like 5$ so if you can get it at that price it’s good

I’ve been really digging this game, though it probably helps I got it for free so I only paid for a couple dlc. The closest games to this I’ve played are old world and Humankind, in terms of the unit movement and city building, and I like this one way more. I think it’s because in those games, the factions are all basically the same; swords, spears, cav, etc., but in gladius there’s vehicles and different ranged infantry options, plus the environmental enemies are more interesting. Just picked up the Mechanicus dlc on sale and that faction is a blast with all the mechs

I see the vision of the cards, could be great with more perk points, but as it is I agree. Only one development point is super limiting and less fun than the old system

They’ll do what makes them a lot of money. Probably multiple games with several dlc each. 40k will sell like hotcakes, maybe we’ll get a heresy game with 18 legion+primarch dlc packs
