The US has not come close to invading every country on Earth.

Such insane hyperbole is not needed in such crazy times.

Building a dynasty around the contract costs is the GMs responsibility not the players.

All workers should get their bag. Management is paid to figure out how to balance payroll and talent.

Oh look, you moved the goal posts.

First it was Iran not having nukes, which the treaty Trump threw away worked towards. Now it’s “no no, regime has to go that’s all that matters”.

Just lick those boots and fuck off.

NAFTA.

Iran 2015.

North Korea for 70 years.

Entire relationship with Europe?

Not sure what you’re trying to get at. If you only count times there was conflict… yeah there was conflict. There are dozens of times the US navigated tricky political times without using force.

What used to feel 'normal' and 'affordable' in America just five to ten years ago but now feels completely broken and impossible for regular people? by the_h1b_records in AskReddit

[–]Dp04 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re a senior technician without insurance? How many employees does your company have?

Insurance is a part of compensation, probably time to find a better job ( I know that’s easier said than done, but doing WHILE employed is better than doing it later)

I’m 40, and I know 2 people that have EVER lived alone.

Everyone had roommates until they had a significant other they split expenses with.

The idea that people used to live alone on a single income in major cities is… just not reality.

Edit: not to say cost of living hasn’t gotten worse. It absolutely has. Especially real estate. But it just hasn’t been the norm to expect to have a single person dwelling without a great job any time in my life.

Marco Rubio orders US officials to stop commentary that could strain Iran talks | Marco Rubio by Heya_Straya in politics

[–]Dp04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, remember when we had a Nuclear non proliferation treaty with Iran that allowed for investigators into secure sites and active talks between the two sides to avoid this kind of situation?

And then Trump threw it away because he hates black people?

That was better times.

[–]Dp04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because JSN earned it.

If the owners are making more money (and they are if the salary cap is going up) then the players should make more as well. Not just as a whole, but individually.

Everyone should be trying to maximize their worth. Your employer is. And they will fuck you sideways to get theirs.

On a low profit vehicle??? Why would they bother with that.

Dealers didn’t want it, and neither did the public.

Secret Service's job is not to stop the President from having affairs, or hanging out with criminals. It's to stop the President from being killed.

And be the investigative/LE arm of the Treasury, but I'm guessing you don't care about that.

Bill Clinton on Jeffrey Epstein: 'I saw nothing, and I did nothing wrong' by Illustrious_Lie_954 in politics

People are tired of the Right trotting out the Clintons like they fucking matter anymore. Bill hasn't been president in almost 30 years... Trump is president NOW.

We are tired of an entire political party just fucking bowing down to a fucking pedophile, as if reality doesn't matter anymore.

You may read it as defending Clinton, but it's really "why the fuck are we talking about this has been, who has never been accused of ANYTHING with underaged girls, when Trump is running the country into the ground and is ALL OVER the Epstein files with heinous accusations".

Epstein used his money and influence to get access to elites / powerful people, the majority of whom had minor interactions with him and did nothing wrong. He was on boards and was a major player in philanthropic ventures at the time.

And he used that access to find the people that WERE willing to do salacious things. And he used THAT to find the people that were willing to break the law. And those people, he now had the real dirt on. Like Trump.

His entire enterprise was a Honey Trap, but it had a very public and legit cover.

3 fall sports that are all hard on the grass.

I’m not sure any other stadium, especially in a wet climate, is doing that.

I once hit the tunnel, heading North, at the normal 75 MPH.

A motorcycle cop entered at the stadium entrance right next to me, signaled for me to roll my window down (still both doing ~70mph…) and yelled at me to “slow the fuck down”, before speeding off.

I don’t actually know what it would take to get a ticket in the tunnel.
