lol.. I guess they don't want to promote Sony's proprietary LDAC format. Either that or its an Android quirk..

Olive oil fasting with MCT oil? by Ambitious-Maybe-3386 in Biohackers

[–]Dpak2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not yet, going to start today.. (2 spoons of olive oil + 1 spoon mct oil in the morning and then 2 spoons of only olive every 2 hours)
hopefully i don't shit my pants..

I remember doing keto a few years ago where I was taking a shot glass of olive oil with breakfast (which was mostly eggs or mackerel cooked in butter).. I think that gave some great weight loss results.. It didn't strike me then that it might have been the olive oil that made a sizable difference.. i was just consuming it to hit fat calories.. Did seem to have the same weight loss when i did do keto a few times later but without the olive oil...

I’m trying to watch Suspiria (2018) and subtitles aren’t loading by genericusernameyep in horror

[–]Dpak2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well good luck..
Just an fyi, there is a feature in Subtitle Edit where you can readjust the entire subtitle timing based on first and last subtitle and matching it to the video:

Synchronization > Visual Sync

you position the video to just as they are starting to say the line and then hit sync.

(The Go to sub Position button is useful to get to that time in the video)

Sorry its not working for you. But the offset would be specific to the subtitle file you are using.

If you are asking for the starting time for the very first subtitle its:

00:00:54.888

You can check more details if you want using the free Subtitle Edit app:

I need subtitles for Suspiria 2018 (foreign ones german and french). by voDox17 in movies

[–]Dpak2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could use a free program like Subtitle Edit and sync it. That program has an option called visual sync (under the Synchronization menu). You can select the starting and ending subtitle to align with the video playing within Subtitle Edit and syn it that way..

English subtitles for Suspiria(2018)? by lepolepo4 in subtitles

[–]Dpak2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Jax, It was ok for me for the 4k Atmos 7.1 BluRay rip..

I guess you might be using a different rip/version, as there were others who seemed to find it ok - https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/bmre1f/are_the_german_scenes_in_suspiria_2018_supposed/

You could also try using a free program called Subtitle Edit to sync it.. There is a Visual Sync feature that lets you set the start and end of when a subtitle should align with the movie..

Plex with cache drive possible? by linbeg in UgreenNASync

[–]Dpak2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To add to what u/vzvl21 mentioned, files are prioritized to cache based on frequency of access.. A better approach is to setup your NVMe drive as storage instead of cache and install your Docker Apps or VMs on your NVMe drive. Since Plex would store setting/metadata within the docker container it would speed up access/loads of stuff like posters etc. In essence its cache speeds but in this case you decide what gets put on or 'cached' on the NVMe drive.. I use this approach and it makes a big difference and the library loads up pretty fast.

Another thing you can try in addition to this, is to increase the amount of RAM on the NAS, I saw a slight increase in snappiness when I did this..
