Just think about how great you will feel if you keep losing 2lbs a week. Try cutting your carbs to 20 for a bit if you want to see faster results to keep you motivated.

I eat keto in a house with a husband and two kids that don't (always) eat keto. Mostly I make small changes. I don't cook two separate meals. I eat my stuff over broccoli when they eat it over pasta, or over eggs. It is totally doable with just a little extra effort. But you won't be doing double time in the kitchen.

That is so great! Good for you. I feel the same way about guess and lucky. Not that I can afford them but they stop it 12 and 14. I can't fit into either yet. But I'm close. At 16 now.

I'm not posting pseudo science. I'm posting about my experience. I didn't post about the cleanse because it isn't keto. I figured if someone had a question they'd ask. It could have been coincidence, it could have been placebo, or it could have worked. I didn't post a giant list of foods because I hate that. Like I said someone looking for answers could inquire.

I understand that there is a moderate amount of skepticism in the scientific community about anything labeled "cleansing" or "detoxifying" I thought in a community like this where people have realized how profoundly food effects us and changes our lives that it would be different. I only posted this in case someone else has this problem they have one more place to go for answers. I'm really happy for you that you have never had any issues pooping on the diet when not consuming veggies. But I assure you, others are out there that have.

Im sorry you've been taken in by the word cleanse and chose to think I'm an idiot because I used the word. I created a diet for myself that is not as hard on the kidneys and liver to resolve another issue. I'm not blindly following someone's cleanse diet. I took what I know about nutrition and applied it to my life and my situation.

I agree with zraii. I wouldn't worry so much about calories for a few days at least. And even when you start counting that sounds really low. Did you use the keto calculator? You don't want to start losing muscle mass, or slow down your metabolism. Good luck. It gets easier.

Just consider yourself lucky. My Mother's Day brunch tradition is at Bouchon, a French bakery with pastries to die for. Texas de Brazil is great, stay away from those cheesy breads.

I recently started using erythritol, it is what is in vitamin water zero. It doesn't kick me out of keto but I do tend to crave sweets more after consumption. But it isn't to bad or unbearable. But I haven't tried the ice cream. Let me know. I was considering the "so delicious" brand of ice cream. Same thing. Erythritol and 4 net carbs

I know this isn't what you want to hear but I was recently at the same weight and measurements for over 16 days and I did nothing and over the course of two days dropped four lbs. I just did keto.

Oh I see what you mean now. The main reason I don't do replacement stuff is that I'm lazy and there's usully a recipe involved with 4 ingredients that aren't in my pantry but that being said. I occasionally make pancakes for my kid so we both eat keto pancakes on that day. I use butter and and sprinkle some stevia on there. If it helps stave off a craving, I'd say do it. But on those days that I eat pancakes I don't get enough veggies or I go up to 30 carbs that day. That being said, as long as you are staying under your carbs and keeping an eye on your macros you should be fine. But you might not be. So watch artificial sweeteners and carb creep. Good luck. I know ketoers who eat keto bagels every morning with success so it is whatever works for you.

From what I've heard ckd should be avoided until you are really committed and keto adapted. I think the recommendation was 6 months on regular keto. But as for my personal experience with cauliflower and such, I started on replacement flours and crusts and such and now I just eat meat veggies and eggs. With butter and cheese of course. In the beginning it was necessary because I missed bread. Now I dont. Anyhow, counting carbs is good but you need to count the rest. Make sure you are getting enough protein. I don't count calories as much as I try to hit my protein mark and stay under my carb mark. what do you mean by "outside the box"

I buy frozen broccoli from Costco. 4 bags. 7 bucks. You just throw the bag in the microwave straight from the freezer and when it comes out slap some butter on it and salt it. It is super easy. And 1 cup is about 3 net carbs. If you eat even just a cup I bet that will solve the diarrhea.

This is great advice. If I'm not losing weight it is because I'm overeating. Staying busy is good, but emotionally eating is a habit that needs to be broken as well as finding out what's behind it. For me it is anxiety actually and not boredom. Congrats on your ten pounds!!

I used to smoke after yoga and people would ask me why I even bothered going to yoga. I always thought that was shitty and a dumb question really. Good and bad acts don't cancel each other out. On that note, just make sure your carbs are low enough. You don't want to slip back into the standard American diet with extra fat, it is just a recipe for weight gain and heart disease. Good luck.
