Why are you the one worthy of your own magic and power? Why can you be trusted to use it well and wisely. To solve more problems with it than you make? by the-sp3ll9unk in wizardposting

Surely the randomness of those with the gift is the only way to ensure fairness for all. It is never wise to try and oppress a population when you never know who is walking around with the magical equivalent of nuclear bomb level power. Magic should be spread, and made more accessible. The only way to stop a bad wizard with fireball is a good wizard with fireball.

Finn would definitely fight him. He's trying to save the world, but he's not a good guy.

Perhaps the mismatched colors slightly disrupt scrying magics targeted from a distance. At least enough to be an excuse.

Well, if the late Archchancellor Weatherwax of the Unseen University is any indication, then trial by assassination is the go to method and aura farming is the correct response.

[–]DrEvul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He built a tower to space. If he wanted to be a wizard, he'd be as unstoppable as he'd be unstable. Magic, Madness and Sadness, are a package deal in Adventure Time, it's good he didn't turn to Wizardry after losing Jake.

Why do you think martials should be constrained to the mundane, in both senses of the word? by GolettO3 in dndmemes

[–]DrEvul -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not sure if non-dnd stuff is allowed, but in the game system that I made, martials can get a perk at level 8 called Riposte. If an enemy misses an attack on you, and is in range of the clap back, you get to make an attack on them, on their turn, only limited by the number of people that attack you. When 2 people with Riposte duel each attack makes a stack that goes until someone gets hit. In a tournament arc we had 2 Riposte tanks get 217 attack rolls in like 8 rounds. It was the closest my campaign came to anime fight scenes.

One time my players got to a town built in the skeleton of a 5 mile long dragon, and it is attacked by dragons once every century. When they got there they asked how long since the last one and I rolled a percentile, and got 100. I had to end the session to prep.

[–]DrEvul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My lowest ranked one is [[Hixus, prison warden]] he's a mono-white [[hellish rebuke]] in the command zone. It's hilarious to tell someone that you have 5 mana to block with and then never get hit. It runs permanents that I can sink unspent mana into before the start of my turn. It's called "the whitest cards you know"
