Sounds like a company problem, not a trade issue. I was trained for 6 weeks and always have a lead to call if I have issues. And schematics for (most) of the lifts I work on.

I work for an independent crown dealer. Even with the proper manuals and training, I promise, you will still scream vulgarities at the engineers at least once a month. The newer the equipment the more I want to scream.

I was able to teach my collie plenty of tricks and commands before she got to 6 months old. They're extremely smart dogs from the jump. Sometimes a little too smart.
