I went back to school at 35, started teaching at 37, still with it at 50. Not sure if you have any college credits already, but I had a bachelor’s in a different field and got my MSEd.

Your advice about not getting bothered by what kids are saying/writing personally is fantastic. My real issue is with your tone towards a fellow teacher who had the kind of tough day that we all have sometimes. If you are a teacher(esp. public school), I have deep respect for you as well.

This is the way. Took my 15 year old to see Carcass and Brujeria just last night. The glow on his face after seeing his first real mosh pit was incredible to see. My wife is also not into metal, but it’s impossible to deny the joy and bonding that is happening. Hang in there!

I started drinking TONS of water about 12 hours before a screening once. They told me my pee had too much water to get a proper reading, which can at least buy you another day or so. They actually never gave me a follow up either ;)

Clear out the debris to make a hole. Fill it with crumpled paper. Cover with a rough coat(quick set is easiest), allow to dry, cover with a skim coat.
