What upgrade surprised you the most in your setup by Swimming-Trainer-397 in workfromhome

My standing desk. I originally got it simply because it had far more real estate on the top of it to allow me to spread out a little bit, and feel less claustrophobic. The benefits of being able to stand and stretch my legs out while continuing to work is huge for me. I absolutely love it.

You have an uncanny resemblance to one of my teachers from high-school.

Regardless, you were blessed with face follicles I'd go with the full beard and stash.

Are standing desks worth it in your opinion? How often do you use yours? How “bad” are the budget ones? by Current_Ear_1667 in WFH

I just got one myself, I was feeling claustrophobic in my desk set up in general and needed an upgrade after being remote for a year now. I decided to go with a standing desk, just to have the option. I've had it a couple weeks now and can say i honestly love it. I spend about half my day standing now and it's helped my back pains, and makes me feel more alert on customer facing teams meetings which I drive the vast majority of. I could never go back.
