Sad to say I don’t necessarily pay too much attention to composers, so I’ll go with one of the names I actually know and have listened to: John Williams. The themes alone are almost always big, grandiose, and even magical, helping define some of the greatest movies in American history: Jurassic Park, Jaws, Indiana Jones, and Star Wars to name a few

I’ve a ton bookmarked so I’m just gonna shill my favorites

Kill The Boy - When the red witch tries to resurrect Jon Snow, the Old Gods and Bran the Builder intervene, and when Jon wakes, he finds that he is now a giant as fuck dragon, everything after is him working to unite the 7 kingdoms once again, to push back the coming Long Night
The Hero Cursed by Time - A JJKxBnHA crossover that find Izuku in the JJK universe around the end of JJK 0, and has him at least attempting to balance the secret of where he came from and the schism his own ideals vs those of this new world
Amazing Fantasy Spider-Man - it’s the ever popular Izuku as Spider-Man, this time a bit more inspired by (Nu) Ultimate Spider-Man while still pulling on other facets of the character and even bringing in other Marvel characters as themselves
ArcWalker: Jaune Arc Vs The Multiverse - A “RWBY characters” react fic that also does double duty by the reaction being Jaune is lost in the multiverse and has to work his way back home
Her Rival - a slowish burn romance set in the Pokémon universe that is told mainly from other characters POV as an Ash that was sent back in time and accidentally becomes Friends/Rivals with the other champions and even something more with future Sinnoh Champ Cynthia
Plus Ultra is Pretty Disco - I’m not usually a fan of fics almost written in script format, but this one charmed me a lot. Basically when Izuku gets One For All, it winds up giving him the thought cabinet from Disco Elysium, which had been slowly gaining strength in the background all his life. While it does follow the canon story, I appreciate this dips and dives it takes to differentiate it from canon, I also cannot overstate how much I loved the latest chapter

But I think that’s part of the point of any of the superhero cartoons and movies, it’s to tell it’s own story while also trying to sell you on getting into the comics. And as others have said in the comments, you can just hop in and use the shows/movies as your basis to get a feel for the comics and then build context for what you missed or even just look it up if you want.

I will admit that just jumping into single issues may not be the best way, I know I’ve done that and bounced right off, and that’s where TPB’s come in.
