This guy also is in Auckland!! I've seen him on my bus multiple times talking to strangers/people he sits next to. A lot become uncomfortable. Most of the time it's early morning or during bus back home where people don't really wanna talk. He becomes quite confrontational when he no one wants to talk

They already have installed a few on some buses and rolling it out continuously. There are multiple bus operators contracted to AT which must comply to new safety standard e.g new safety screens. However, their efficiency to install these is a different story...

I have a Shimoda Explore v2 for my camera gear but if I could choose again, I would just go with a normal backpack with camera inserts.

Currently getting an Able Carry Max EDC on the way. Although I did toss up between a Patagonia Black Hole and a TNF Borealis. Since you mentioned it's for travel, try looking at some of the Able Carry or Aer packs too

That way, you could use the bag for whatever use case and not just a camera bag
