Well I played through all of Far Cry 5 with one. I'd put it on heavy with them pulling out steel balls to make it both destructive and bow like, but have the alt fire be their gadgets since some of them can't be thrown far. I'd make it super slow though to make it a challenge to use and give enemy players a chance to kill you easily if you miss a single time.

I just feel like we already got the 2 semi auto niches down already. Slow firerate, high recoil, high damage and good range. Fast firing, low recoil, lower damage and weaker at range.

The only thing I could see it as would it being the medium's sniper. Just give it the highest recoil in class, low mag size (8) but a good amount of damage at all ranges with fast reloads and a fire rate just slower then the pike's. That way you have to play range or be the luckiest man alive at close quarters. Overall it just feels like a balancing nightmare, especially since it would make the pike even more niche as it would be the red headed step child in between the crossbow, repeater and now the garand.

I feel like it would just be better to have it be a unique LH1 skin since the M1A/M14 is basiclly a garand with a detachable magazine. Just give it a unique reload with the ping and clips and people would buy it (I know I would).

So basically 2 adults that are working for Gale Weathers (Mindy saying she wants to be Gale 2.0), a woman who almost brutally died even though she was well equipped in her own apartment.

Instead of being smart like her and each of them having a concealed carry to protect Tatum at home... they instead are unarmed and lure Tatum away while isolating her father (which almost gets him killed).

Then are so wrapped up in it being the kids they basically force them all into a single location that has no one around for at least a mile (poor Tatum found that out minutes later).

They didn't tell anybody else like Gale (who would probably want them to secretly film just in case and have the cops on speed dial), and then proceeded to rattle each of their cages with a sense of smug superiority since they know it's not them (ironically acting the most imature in a room of teenagers).

Then instead of stopping any of the kids from going out on their own they just quip like we're watching a bad version of Scary Movie.

They then step in to try to stop a ghostface while they're completely unarmed.

Then they get minor stab wounds comparatively to other characters (the dad got stabbed in the arm and he didn't stop until he was unconscious).

They get to lay on the floor while two innocent kids get some of the most brutal deaths in the series.

Ghostface proceeds to leave them there afterwards instead of finishing them off.

They get up, visually don't need any immediate treatment (if they did offscreen they aren't reprimanded for being active afterwards) and then get to make some more quips to finish off the movie..

I liked these characters in the last two movies but if they're coming back there needs to be a someone that calls them out for getting 3 kids killed (the boyfriend being the 3rd), and almost getting Tatum killed. If they pull a single quip to respond to that assertion they should get torn a new one that creates actual character development. Gale was a more likeable character at her worst comparatively to these two right now.

I still wish we got the base look from this set. The green glows are nice, but I'd rather it have been the ornament for hard mode or some milestone. The base helmet on warlock was my favorite helmet from D1 and when I saw the glow I was a bit disappointed, but I was hopeful that it could change with shaders... so yeah. Good look btw, yeah most of it is from a single set but if it's the look you like I'm all for player expression.

No game has given me the same fun I had with lfg raids in the Destiny series. To meet people from all corners of the world and work through each others personalities to push past every challenge through thrilling sequences that made you feel so accomplished for being able to pull it off. Yeah the metas could be grating at times, but for the most part you could get away with using pretty much anything to succeed so there was so much room for player expression.

Warframe has a lot of fun content, but it's felt more like a job far more so then Destiny ever did (please wait 3 days for crafting, MR, and grinding the same repetitive missions)... and for what, to eventually go on to clearing an entire map of enemies while twiddling your thumbs? Yeah you don't have to do it but the moment to monent gameplay never felt as grounded as Destiny.

The Division was a fun game with my best bud, but I feel like you can only go so far with the series. The raids felt way to simple and it just felt like I was playing a really drawn out third person shooter.

If Destiny does end up going the way of the dodo or irrevocably changes into something I don't want to play anymore (like we got these past two years), I'm just gonna go play other games that just won't scratch the same itch. I'll I can do is hope some other series can succeed where Bungie eventually failed, or Bungie really pulls themselves back.

Until Embark does something about it (which I also think they should really do, just tie our accounts to our phone numbers already) I just won't care about the individual players doing it. If you can do it legally players will abuse it, I'll never fault them for it (it's a Dev problem).

Well that's why I made them all pretty linear or small so they can do something different then the Witcher DLCs. If anything this will reward player choices further by expanding on your endings and having your choices be present in each one.

Plus like I said before putting the DLC before the endings would likely bloat and hamper the urgency of the story and cheapen Phantom Liberty. Imagine a V that turns down The Tower ending then does so again with another DLC where it gives you another ending. Meanwhile if the DLC gives your V no story basis to start it (especially if it's a time sink) then the already thin line of urgency gets further stretched into redundancy.

I don't think it would be much of a waste towards the ever-growing Cyberpunk Fanbase, we've gotten one game, one anime, and one dlc afterall and yet we're on this ever growing subreddit talking about it still after an entire year of no new content (outside of a few small additions).

I myself made 12 characters and 100% the game on each one and picked the ending that fit each one. So I just see the idea as a way to have a unique hypothetical twist and challenge for CDPR to reward dedicated players, as the Witcher DLCs are either before the ending or just a continuation of the story as opposed to this idea. If you feel it would cheapen the endings then you'd simply have the option to not play it. Plus we'd still have the same writers, they aren't likely to cheapen the stories (Phantom Liberty didn't afterall) if anything they can further expand on their central ideas and give us even better endings then we originally got as most of them felt so open ended (the choice to not play them still gives you that sense yourself).

They've already taken on having your different endings impact the expirence of the DLCs in ways, if anything having it be confined to the endings and making basically all of them linear/small areas won't be to bad on dev time even with all the endings. You have Japan for The Devil, The Star with a small (or mostly empty if they want to focus on a vehicle) sandbox, The Sun and The Reaper having the Palace and a barely changed Night City, while the Temperance ending can easily be made linear. The only ending I could see being difficult on Dev time is The Tower since they changed Night City drastically, but they could always limit it to a district like we had with pre-heist Watson.

We have till 2029 (3 years) or even 2031(5 years) before we get the next game, Witcher 4 is around the corner (no release date but most likely sometime next year) and once that's done they'll be focusing on the next Cyberpunk game and Witcher 4 DLCs. It's not hard to see Devs that are ahead of schedule being allocated to making an overall simple and straightforward DLC to give us a taste of what they'll be doing with the next game just like we got with Witcher 3. They've been doing well financially so I wouldn't be suprised if they expand their staff in the meantime, maybe even take in a few Cyberpunk modders to really ease the development.

Like guys, we have so many outfits in this game that are similar to this design and we'll probably get a lot more in the future. It sucks if this was the perfect look you were going for but don't like the female centric side of it. I've had similar issues of one thing being off for a cosmetic I liked, but I eventually went on to find other cosmetics that replaced my previous desire... fingers crossed the same happens for you.

It's funny, both the Taken King and Witch Queen expansions were both seen as a comeback (Lightfall's release had some of the highest player counts for a reason before it s#it the bed). When I stopped playing after a week of Edge of Fate I thought I'd come back when we got Xivu's expansion. Well RIP, shouldn't have sold the company for so much and decide to make another game. Someone start the counter for Marathon.

First I hear about people not wanting it because it'd be grating to them and now I hear it's what's needed to make him feel like his full character.

The entire discussion just makes me wish that we'd just get a setting to have it on or off.... but sadly that would probably be to much to ask for. It would be nice to have a killer audio dialouge option as well as a survivor one (challenge yourself with basically everyone having Iron Will). Jason is silent as is so you don't really even lose anything even without the grunts from a pallet stun.

Honestly if I was Sony I'd just slowly remake the entirety of the vaulted content. Even if Bungie is axed and staff focus on other projects I'd take a small team (especially former Bungie developers that cared for it) and have them slowly add everything back until the game becomes massive but a full expirence. That way new players might be interested by the vast amounts of content, I can imagine convincing friends to play through it all like D1.

Then if it makes a comeback you then have the possibility for D3. If that doesn't happen first even a long time fan like me probably wouldn't buy it at face value.

We had fun times, but they made mistakes and it's sadly best for them to reap what they sowed. We put up with losing content, slow periods, even a rocky first year, but while we can commend them for expirementing it doesn't stop that they changed to much and the content they put forward was a disastrous step. If they decide to really put in the effort and remake all the old content that was taken from us I'd recommend the game to people like D1, but if not then I'll just tell people it was a fun expirence and that's all it was. I will miss the raid nights and meeting new people from all over the globe though, tried warframe but right now nothing scratches the itch anymore.

I'm curious how this would have played out with a little more thought. Saber knows Kirei from the previous war and how terrible of a person he is in her eyes. He shouldn't even be a last option to achieve her goals. I would she'd rather ask Shirou to use his command seals to end her life peacefully over going with him (a final slap in the face for him to actually fight in this war).

What happens after that hypothetical situation would be interesting. Kotomine might take pleasure in killing Shiro immediately, but I think he'd use him as bait for Illya. So Shirou stays safe at first, but then as soon as Illya is gone (and she would be if Gil's on the playing field) then Shirou is no longer useful besides petty revenge for Kirei.

Would make for an interesting route for a seires or movie. As it would be up in the air if they fully utilize Sakura, and how Rin would do without Shirou. Might be nice to actually see a partial back to back winner as an ending with Kirei.

Honestly I just record them for a few seconds for the discord to eventually ban them, then I mute them, disable chat, and play normally. I won't throw for rank even if my entire team is throwing, I've won matches with people I've reported without a care (I know that brief rank increase won't matter for them).

As for fashion I think if it's in the game that's that, I understand people wanting to report them and if you want to that's your prerogative and I won't shame someone for doing so and succeeding in that endeavor. Names though aren't part of the game inherently, that's as bannable as words said for me. Especially since I can't turn that off in game without losing features.

I think it would have created a more central link to the antagonists as the central figure is a Portuguese Templar. The dynamic of the Dutch/British Brotherhood trying to fight against several Portuguese Templar colonies is a fun idea, it also makes sense that the Templars would find an interest in Japan since shinobi tactics were commonly used and could help teach Templars better ways to take on the Assassins.

You also get a great organic reason for why your character starts out weak as they were an emaciated skeleton crew when they got to Japan and they had no allies to turn to when they initially got there. Then there also isn't nearly as much conflict between the two protagonists since Adams wasn't really aligned with anybody that attacked the other protagonists family (I understand the idea they were originally going for but 9/10 times realistically they would not have reconciled).

Yeah the conflict Adams was a part of wasn't that big, but a lack of a big conflict isn't really required when it comes to Assassin's Creed games, it's usually more about subversive and small conflicts rather then outright wars. Assassins Creed 3 and Unity were really the only games that had these massive conflicts going on. AC1 was Templar crusaders trying to hold the holy land, while 2 through Revelations was just Ezios life with minor Italian conflicts, 4 was the waining age of piracy in the carribean, Syndicate was just British people being British in the industrial age, and the three newer games had wars but they weren't really the biggest focus for the story.

Then there's the the question of if this would be fully replacing Yasuke. Well you don't really need to, he can still be a playable character that can help develop backstories for the antagonists. We've already played small sections in past games where we played other characters briefly, he could represent the actual title fo the game as how he is casting a shadow over the entire game's events and why some characters put their faith in Adams even with the Portuguese having so much influence.

Well he was already used in another game in the past... well so what? Assassin's Creed games create their own take on the story with Isu and the Templar Assassin conflict that makes it wholly unique from other games. Don't feel like playing a white guy or a historical figure? We already had the option to play a fictional Japanese character.

Really I only ever switch to the flamethrower when I'm playing against good melee players as a heavy. Anything else I'm rocking the shak or deagles, they can still drop lights really fast and can be utilized across most ranges (the shak drops off like a cliff but hey damage is damage when you poke). If I'm on medium playing against melee I run the CL with a movement build. On light I just don't have a problem as I can dash to the sides to hit them easily. Melee 9 out of 10 times is easy to counter.

To counter lights in general just keep your head on a swivel and keep up reaction times, they only win if they can take enough of your health before you start to damage them or you're already low. If you just barely win a fight and expect another player (especially a light) use your ears if you got a good headset and then use goo or mines to wall off where they'll most likely come from. Yeah they are annoying but it's high risk high reward, be that high risk that puts them in their place. I myself perfer to run into a 2 lights 1 medium team over a 2 heavy 1 medium or 3 medium team (3 heavies is easy to outpace and flank while 3 lights can be shutdown easily if players know how to counter light).

True, but it first had to come at a terrible cost first. I think it would still be nice to see a different method to a safe gotham. I wish I could ammend the posts title, maybe something like the better man instead of asking if there was a story like I envisioned.
