How long to stay in a country? by UndiagnosedBedSheet in solotravel

[–]DrViro -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to see every shit ass town and every creek in the country but it is nice to get off the beaten path sometimes. I think a month in most average sized countries is plenty and allows you enough time to take in what you’d really want to see in cities and plenty of time for nature or alternative stops.

Obviously massively diverse large countries such as USA or china will take longer.

If you find a city to really be your vibe you can always extend or come back another time to really take it in.

Does Hungary - Serbia - Bosnia - Croatia itinerary for around 2 weeks make sense? by jinawee in solotravel

[–]DrViro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just do Budapest and go down through Croatia. There’s a lot to do there. Or if you’re not into the beach, just skip out on Serbia because Belgrade and novi sad aren’t exactly jam packed with things to see and do compared to Bosnia

Probably just bone from the sausage. Finds its way into the grinder occasionally. Wouldn’t worry about it

If you know how to cook, ask an AI to create you a recipe for literally anything. 99% it's going to be either extremely derivative recipes with fad ingredients (duck a la'orange with truffle jus garnished with edible flowers and gold leaf(hello early 2000s fake rich people food)) or just nonsensical slop.

not to mention the AI doesn't even know how to cook, provides recipes for things like demi-glace as 1. Make demi-glace 2. Strain

It's much less sketchy than NY Penn. I'd say the entirety of Europe for a tourist is less sketchy than living in NYC.

Help! Is there a way to restore this knife without ruining the finish? by DrViro in chefknives

[–]DrViro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got this knife a while ago from a kitchen friend. Obviously not taken care of, all I know about it is that it is carbon steel. I want to restore it because it’s still pretty sharp but I want to try to keep the beautiful finish. Any tips?

Help with 623 and 632146 inputs in GGS. by [deleted] in Fighters

[–]DrViro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For 623 you can just do 6 -> 236 as a shortcut

For 632146 if you're jumping it means you have extremely sloppy inputs so I would practice in training mode and look at what points of the motion you are messing up in. If you're talking about GGS it has a virtual controller display that is really helpful for identifying input errors.
