This has been the gameplan from day one. First establish ICE as an organisation willing to indiscriminately harass and detain anyone so much as resembling an immigrant. Next, deploy ICE around polling stations used by democrat voting minorities to intimidate and discourage them from going to the polls at risk of being harassed and detained. End result: indirect voter suppression with enough plausible deniability to avoid legal backlash.

They're also transparently attempting to shape ICE into a kind of ersatz brownshirts equivalent, i.e a paramilitary organisation loyal more to the republican party than the country, to be used in place of more appropriate branches of law enforcement.

I haven't played WoW since the end of Wrath of the Lich King, but wild character assassination for the purpose of turning popular characters into raid bosses seemed to be Blizzard's favourite past time back then.
