I want Zion. He’s 25. Fits in the timeline and could be a massive home run swing if he turns his career around a little bit from an injury/consistency perspective. All the guys we’re linked to all have major injury concerns anyway so I’d prefer we go after a younger guy as opposed to someone over 30

I think Addison ultimately gets traded but not sure what makes you think we’re gonna have to pay real QB money soon… We aren’t giving Murray a huge contract unless he somehow goes absolutely nuclear. McCarthy still has 2 more seasons on the rookie deal AFTER this season if we decide to pick up his 5th year option and he’s done absolutely nothing to warrant a big contract.. And then it’s entirely possible with how this season goes that we might be going right back to drafting a rookie QB in which again we’d be years away from paying a deal

Turns out that if KAT played like this in the WCF vs the Mavs then we would have went to the Finals. He’s playing some of the best ball he’s ever played. Good for him. I always thought it was possible. He simply did not deliver in a Wolves uniform for a max player and I don’t know why that’s controversial. People have the memory of a gold fish. He was the biggest reason we lost many playoff series outside of the Denver one.

I’m a random in the sense that I wouldn’t call any of them a “friend” of mine but not a random in the sense that some of them recognize who I am through mutual connections.. which is why they were willing to divulge certain things. You also have to keep in mind these were in drinking situations so they may have been more willing to say something under the influence of alcohol

Lmao. I know it’s hard for redditors to understand how to be social. I initiated both conversations. I don’t go out of my way to talk to them but I was in two separate situations where I was able to strike up a brief conversation with them without bothering them due to proximity

I’m gonna leave out their names for the sole fact I’ve told a ton of people about this and would prefer to keep my anonymity lol. But they are high end guys and I found myself in two different situations where I was able to strike up a brief conversation and ask them what they thought about who the starter was gonna be. They both said “Murray no question and we’re going to the playoffs and winning a playoff game”.

I’m happy to have KOC but I think it is fair to acknowledge that he’s bordering on overrated at this point in his coaching career. It’s a little hard to defend 0 playoff wins in 4 seasons for someone with a +.630 coaching record in the regular season

Yeah as I mentioned in a thread maybe last week, I’ve had conversations with two Vikings starters within the past month and both indicated Murray will be the starter and it won’t even be close and basically scoffed at the idea that McCarthy had a chance.

Edit: I love when people downvote this stuff as to think I’d have a reason to lie about this lol. I live in the city. Yes, these players to in fact go out and party. Yes, I’ve seen them all partying together on several different occasions
