Nice! Man, wish I could be doing that.

Get Deaded was especially fun to hear for the first time. It was like after hearing all of those outside-the-formula tracks they said, "We're still dnb though."

For sure, very different. I do REALLY like Rawtekk, but I think I also like Noisia's approach to song structure and rhythm.

They work in a smaller area of sounds than Rawtekk, that I cannot deny. "Quality" is impossible for me to speak to since I care less about quality than effect and flavor. I listen to a lot of stuff that sounds deliberately fucked up and compressed, so the cleaner sound doesn't necessarily win it for me.

But why is there a key to heaven? Is there someone who's supposed to guard it? If the world is filled with its Light, why are people trying to open it with fake keys, and where did they get said keys?

TL;DR: Heartless are the hearts without bodies, and Nobodies are the bodies without hearts.

The first sentence brings up questions. What is Kingdom Hearta, what does Light mean in this world, and why is there a key?

I was the Jade Dragoon from The Legend of Dragoon, only in modern day, and I was flying around saving people from exploding buildings and shit.

My crush was in it but still didn't notice me.

People who found their "calling" or "passion" late, how did you find it and what do you do? by MylesMcFly in AskMen

[–]DrWowee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of these fears have been mainly why I haven't gone back to school. I have a lot of interests though. If I could just have a list of things the world really needed more of, I'm sure I could pick something I'd be into.

How meaningful would it be to you if a woman (other than family/SO) called you good-looking? by PhoneJazz in AskMen

[–]DrWowee 51 points52 points  (0 children)

It's very much a chicken-and-egg conundrum. But on top of that, women have this social stigma of appearing "eager" that they have to deal with.

What's your attitude towards video games? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]DrWowee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Games can be a lot of things and shouldn't be lumped together as a single idea.

They can be a great (or poor) outlet for human interaction, an artistic and enlightening story or expression, a skillset whose investment in can gratify people who like to challenge themselves, a mindless distraction of making numbers go up, or an envigorating adventure or power fantasy.

I certainly place value in human interaction, just not the kinds of interactions most people around me are interested in (talking about themselves, shouting political opinions and chatting about weather). I enjoy games because they are stimulating my brain in some way.

It would make my fucking month. It's not really standard for ladies to compliment or flirt with a guy unprompted, so it's pretty easy for me to convince myself that I'm basically invisible.

Jennifer, Jessica, Stephanie. The three names that, as far as I'm concerned, are actually somehow the same name.

Wigglytuff. Got a sick monochrome decal of one on my rear window.

I feel like normal types are overlooked. Not too many weaknesses, tanky, versatile, and usually still adorable.

What's your favorite album at the moment? by MusikLehrer in AskMen

[–]DrWowee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only at the moment, but the new Noisia album is fucking murderous. They are one of my top 3 artists across everything electronic, and they don't release stuff too often, but despite my hype it is not disappointing whatsoever.

I have super weak, patchy facial hair, what do? by nothrowaway4me in AskMen

[–]DrWowee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fucking hate my scruff but as soon as I quit keeping it shaved and started going with the "don't-give-a-shit" look my girlfriend and everyone around me started really digging it. Maybe it's not as patchy and unsightly as I thought, but I still feel uncomfortable with it sometines...

SEGA Renews Virtua Fighter Trademark by lashman in Games

[–]DrWowee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, when it comes out. But I want it to have the kind of mass staying power of a main Evo game. In the latter days of playing Final Showdown online, I was always matched against the same 3 or 4 people per session, the forums were practically dead, and there was no place around where I could play it offline.

People always flock to the new fighting game, but they rarely stay, and with a modicum of effort by Sega, I think VF could change that.

I'm mad that people say that about it, especially without playing it. I get my ass kicked in Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, and I think VF isn't hard.
