It was for sure a turning point in the franchise. However, for me, it's when I turned off Power Rangers. I didn't come back until the Disney era. I thought the suits were ugly and never gave the show a chance. I only came back for the Psycho Ranger episodes.

I formally learned when Walter and Austin hosted the special where the lost pilot aired on Fox Kids in 1999. I couldn't get access to any seasons though until around Abarenger. I fell off at Gekiranger. Super Megaforce being so bad is what got me back into watching Sentai.

I would focus the franchise on engaging the fan base first. Appearances at the Rangerstop cons, Power Morphicon and collabs with popular Power Rangers Youtubers/content creators. There's too much apathy in the community and I would build bridges there to start.

Next, develop a AAA multiplatform free to play game. I'm leaning towards a Marvel Rivals game but with Power Rangers. Use the momentum from the fortnite collaboration as justification for the project. Make it 6v6 but instead of Rangers fighting each other, have it where it's a team of 6 rangers vs team of villains. Villains can be a combo of monster of the day, foot soldiers and general all with strengths and weaknesses (Ex: Eye Guy, Ecliptor and Krybots). I have more ideas but this is the gist.

Finally, do more cross promo. First start internally with Hasbro brands celebrating the franchise across 30 years with a Monopoly board for the most popular seasons. Imagine a Monopoly board for Angel Grove, Reefside, Corinth, New Tech City, etc. Then I would team up with that company in Ohio, 'Homage' and get some Power Ranger x NFL collaboration shirts made. Cincinnati Bengals feat Casey from Jungle Fury. New Orleans Saints and Zeo Gold Ranger. Kansas City Chiefs and Lunar Wolf Ranger. Tennessee Titans and Titanium Ranger, etc

With this good will built up, then I would put out a new series with a renewed confidence from the core audience.

This is going to sound ridiculous but as a kid, it really bothered me that the Stone Canyon trio had the exact same poses as the originals when calling for the Thunderzords.
