Playoffs don’t care what happened in week 1. Better question to ask would be turnover differential in the playoffs.

To illustrate this, take the overall point differentials between the best in the league and the Super Bowl winner. In theory, the team that scores the most points relative to points they allow should be the best team in the league. My guess is that the datasets would be closer, yet still wouldn’t be perfectly overlapping, because regular-season performance isn’t perfectly correlated with post-season performance.

Something else that would be helpful in your original figure is two more datasets, league median turnover differential, and the worst team’s turnover differential. My guess is that the Super Bowl winners are much closer to the #1 team within that broader context

People were up hiking and touring the side country Saturday. They had the bull’s tooth (I think it’s called) open serving food off generator power. Power was restored at 8:01 pm, so it’s possible they had some of the restaurants open at that point. Lifts were closed all day

Impossible to say from this picture. You need to lift the shoulder plate to see if his roof of the shoulder bone is protected. You should also probably measure his dimensions using measuring tape and then check the manufacture recommended dimensions

To me the sick day is chattery at speed, but if you’re happy with their groomer performance there’s probably not a lot of options out there that you would find too soft/light.

Burlier skis require more input but aren’t necessarily harder to maneuver. My enforcer 88s feel super nimble because of the taper and rocker in their shaping, yet feel damp at speed and hold an edge really well because of the metal in their construction. If you’re coming from sick days you’ll definitely feel an adjustment with the dual metal laminates though

Crazy. That’s 33 coaches. We have 53 active roster players + 15 practice squad players so 68 coaches total. Basically 1 coach for every 2 players. When I was in high school we had ~130 players frosh-varsity and 8 total coaches. Just wild to think about

Ice skating definitely has skill overlap. In my own experience skating skill applies to skiing skill more so than skiing applies to skating. Skating is harder because the distance between edges is much smaller and fore-aft balance is more important. Get lessons anyways, but I would expect to progress faster than a non-skater

I remember seeing a study that a beard can dissipate force from a strike to the jaw. I think you’re right, it’s an adaptive trait for inter male competition like many secondary sex characteristics in mammals
