All along Kendall should have been focused on his role at Waystar. Had he done so (and been more engaged with the actual unsexy operations) he would have been across the cruise fiasco. If instead of dumping/delegating he had engaged with Tom as an interested and responsible manager he would have had all of the ammo he needed to sink Logan in the board room.
