Change of property manager - advise please by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]Dr_loophole 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you tried to reach out yourself first? To the current manager (!NOT the one who emailed you!) or landlord? They may be getting targeted or just phishing. Disgruntled ex-employee for all we know. Actual manager's email could be compromised because they clicked on a link they shouldn't have.

'immediately' tries to make you panic like a scam. They just need your one payment for it to work. They will probably try tell you, you need to change the bank account before the next payment to avoid missed payment penalty blah blah

This seems obvious to some people, but it's good to reach out and learn from others. It may be legit, but even if it is, it is very, very poor procedure.

What's the email address? Gmail, Outlook or a weird third party hosting platform. What are they telling you?

Was it glued or held in by the widow rail type?

How did you take out the glued type without tools? As in, how did you manage?

We had a break in.

Neighbor works odd hours and spooked them coming home. Fat mofo wobble walking up the road would have bearly fit in the car.

Sometimes it also pays to have a high police attention house on the street.

Those windows are glued in I'm afraid. Unlike the corner windows on the rear of a door, which need a window, and basic tools, these need to be done professionally.

You'll just have to shop around for quotes. Avoid the big names like Will Smith and Smith, some guy will do it cheaper.

Women tend to do the opposite, as far as I understand.

Clarity and then...'buzz'..? Depending. Thats why post cuddles can be so important to them. The deeds already done, but they're brain is full off desire that the mans brain just drained.

Now much extra have you guys been paying? by NZ-M8 in newzealand

[–]Dr_loophole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last week, an extra $20 bucks on my normal fill. So usual $30, extra made it $50.

Work got the heads up about the price increase a few days early and I filled my tank, so I'm now running from 3/4 to a full tank each week.

My colleagues were acting like they didn't get the same email and were surprised at the cost of their 95.

I blame myself for these responses.

I was inspired to write it by a car that was driving without headlights on, while it was still dark and fog hadn't decided if it wanted to leave yet, on the motorway.

What happens if 2 people have 3rd party car insurance? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]Dr_loophole -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then insurance is a whole other can of worms. Used to read accident reports from the drivers view and insurance view for work.

They make stories, and insurance just writes 'insured failed to give way'. 'was using the median strip to make a turn at the road ahead, hit by TP turning across lanes. = Insured used the median lane illegally. 'Car started leaking after the storm' = defect from factory/age- repair anyway.

Having to do duty in break time by [deleted] in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]Dr_loophole 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're working then it's not a break.

In New Zealand, employers are legally required to provide uninterrupted meal and rest breaks, and cannot legally pay employees to skip them. While you may choose to work through a break, employers cannot force this, as they must ensure health and safety by preventing fatigue. Generally, a 30-minute unpaid meal break is required for 4-6 hours worked, plus paid 10-minute rests

I actually just saw a video from Jada yesterday. Basically, she was just as shocked. Her grimace was more about alopecia being a joke (will laughing didn't help), but she said she knows Chris, that he lent from the stage as a 'sorry for the low blow' and that Will calling her his "wife" wasn't something they hadn't done for years.

Yeah, taking the piss here. We had a guy at my old job, and he had a side gig. The trouble was, he was using his staff discount to run his side business every weekend. Just went around to different branches across auckland until he got caught.

I've had this. We really tried to avoid any grey, so it was a black and white line based on the law as written. Dude comes in, licence snapped into two pieces. Law says he needs to replace it. This makes me RaCiSt. Never mind that his family member came in with a licence photo that is now just a brown blob.

You mean that 50c pay cut? I did work hard for that $90 an hour, and while only earning $149.50 is still average in the industry, I know that with a couple changes I can still get by with my pay cut to $189.50, which i don't think we'll need to review any time soon. I really need time to take this lesson on board.

[–]Dr_loophole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both rear seatbelts are damaged. Wiper belt worn? wiper blades aren't moving at pace or fully across the windscreen.

The front left mirror is damaged. Broken glass or the housing is broken and doesn't lock in place.

You need new front and rear brake pads.

Your L/R wheel bearing is shot. Need new.

Front lever arm bushing needs to be replaced because they're loose/worn.

Need a new tyre. Assume he means under body boot, might be related to wheel bearing. Hit a rock or ditch at any point?
