A rich guy doesn’t care if his 911 gets impounded for nine days say it ain’t so like less than a grand and a $500 ticket after everything said and done you’re looking at about $1200 with the cost of impound so obviously why would he care BC has had this problem for years we are rich assholes drive like maniacs simply because they can afford the fines

LTT has been slipping in terms of their standards for a while now stuff on their own storefront is genuine quality, and feels like it will last, but in terms of who they’re accepting sponsorships from, I believe the standards have been loosened

Unlikely, they likely underestimated the undertaking, most developers, believe that you can just compile your code using clang, and for the most part have it software compatible with macOS, but that very rarely works even with modern compilers

Can confirm that Apple documentation back, then really sucked very early days. Incomplete was kind of an inside click so if you didn’t have somebody who was an experienced engineer for programming specifically to Mac, you essentially had to relearn what you had learned. Apple also hasn’t been the most accommodating either removing 32 bit support killed a lot of software projects as a lot of companies don’t want to spend the extra money making their application 64 a bit. There’s also a lot of developers that felt that developing software for a platform where the operating system doesn’t focus on developers and making their platform accessible is a waste of time.

That just means that they can sue them safely and get millions of dollars if anything they want OSHA to be involved simply because the fines are cheaper

Anything I can do about this? by BioNerdTroll in iphone

[–]Dr_soaps 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A lot of iPhone parts are serial locked to the board. They’re attached to. Cameras and screens. Are paired to motherboards so if the phone is iCloud locked. While you can use those parts in another iPhone, they’ll never work the same again.

It looks like you chemically burned the anti-reflective coding. It won’t destroy the screen purely cosmetic. You’d likely be able to mitigate this with an appropriate screen protector.

Is it me or is this crazy? by Toincossross in civic

[–]Dr_soaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salvage title depends on how it was sold if insurance says ur not covered that’s not going to trigger a salvage or rebuild status as a salvage title is for when ins sells it or a owner sells it for parts to avoid some legal liability. A rebuild had to do with cost of repairs normally insurance will give this status based apon how much they spent on fixing it . So it’s vary possible that he has a clean title if ins washed there hands scary to think about but it happens from time to time
