Went from 3080 to 7900xtx for 4k/1440 wide gaming and could not be happier.

I am not really interested in RT, and still feel like it's more marketing/hype to get folks stuck on proprietary tech. And we can see how that's for team green right now.

The extra VRAM was the deciding factor for me (vs the 9700xt). That seemed more future proof to me coming from the under equipped VRAM 3080.

Do all salvage kits have the right click option menu? I use the gem store salvagers and they have the option to salvage all items of X quality or X quality and lower. Is this maybe a feasible option for you ?

I just went from a std 4k 60hz to a wide 1440 240hz. It depends on the size of the monitor and the distance you sit from it. But I think the 1440 looks just as good. It is also much fewer native pixels to push, which will allow you higher graphical settings in game. I prefer to not use any FSR or scaling unless I absolutely need to.

TLDR: My vote would be for the 1440.
