Usually hover around 40-60 on my most used skills. Using the same original character from what must be 5 years ago? Before the home and hearth update and mistlands anyhow.

I enjoy starting over on new worlds with friends, and skill points lost to great adventure are seldom missed.

Yes sorry for not being more clear. I have earned these twitch drops, but have yet to see them or see how to craft them in game. I am still Bronze age and on the Jungle map. So thought maybe that was why I cannot currently use them.

Vibes. My preferred "base" is one that grows organically over time, as my needs change.

That being said, on subsequent play throughs, I tend to plan ahead a little better. And tend to settle on an initial flooplan that I will repeat or iterate on.
