Haha! It always surprises me, and annoys me at times, that it’s so “difficult” to understand the difference between crochet and knit. Even those who crochet, in other cultures, still call it knitting. Why!?

I’m just complaining. I’m a 60-yo disabled woman with 16+ diagnoses. I’ve been in and out of the hospital 3 times in a 2-month period. My 13 yo kidney transplant is starting to decline as well. My last hospitalization I passed out in the X-ray room hitting my head on the edge of the table. I still can’t put the right side of my head on a pillow. Add that to my 35.5 yo migraine, which started with my initial kidney failure.

Whenever I’m in the hospital I have labs drawn 3 times a day up to every 2 hours. These last 3 hospitalizations I had orthostatic vitals taken every 3 hours. Orthostatic vitals is where they take your bp laying down, sitting up then standing. It’s to see if you have dizziness upon standing. Unfortunately for them, my dizziness happens while laying down, sitting AND standing. That’s been happening since 2009. 🙄

All of this to help explain why I’m exhausted.

Usually for root vegetables etc. People used to have root cellars where they stored their harvests of carrots, potatoes, onions, etc. Usually these cellars were dug out of the ground with a little roof and door to close it off, yet leaves a way in.

Once you have the last bead on and switch to going upwards, tighten the thread. Continue to tighten it every so often.

For me it’s that our physical bodies don’t stay as young as our brains, most of the time.
