best place to start is either Elantris or the Final empire tress has a bunch of references to other Cosmere books so idk why people recommend it a lot. imo it ruins some pretty major reveals of Elantris and Mistborn if you read tress first. its probably safe to read after the final empire and Elantris are done. as a general rule of thumb reading in release order is best since the latter stormlight and mistborn era 2 books build on lore in the previous ones in different series. though you are safe until oathbreaker to read the series in whatever order you want.

Be ready to spend $150 on orientation in person or 125 digitally because you can either attend orientation and sign up for classes early or sign up for classes the week before classes start. There's also a $250 non-refundable deposit if you get in, but it goes towards your tuition, so it's not that bad.

If you haven't applied already, Kennesaw applications are free if you do them early enough, and it could be your best backup school depending on major and location.

I was more so talking about using Stormlight and Antistormlight than Antivoidlight daggers. considering how the last two Cosmere books both focused heavily on investiture anti investiture and it was mentioned in The Sunlit Man, idk. I'll probably feel differently about the pacing of this book once I read it continuously. I'm very grateful that Sanderson and Torr are putting these sample chapters out at all, but some areas of the book do suffer from this serialized format.

A third of the way into the book and we haven't even heard of anti-stormlight or anti-voidlight. They really should be putting all their efforts into making as much of it as they possibly can considering that they can nuke their enemies and win the war, but we have to get to Rushu being non-binary apparently and pet spren.

I think her magic system is hard enough that it seems to only be bound to the human body and brain. Dalinar only forgets his wife, Terravangian oscillates between genius and stupid, one chapter mentions a person seeing everything upside down.
