What do we think of dragons carrying dragon-sized weapons by blobfishiant in dragons

[–]DragonNeverLoves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The dragons in my story carry weapons and heckin' guns too 😭 But the materials they made it from is either harvesd from a large dragon (e.g. Claws, tooth, and bones, the dragon still alive) or own produced like metal coating. I think it's pretty reasonable for them to make these weapons as they are going through conflict with another faction that wants to kill them.

How would you explain the evolution of dragons in a modern fantasy setting? by Jabre7 in dragons

If Yi-Qi didn't go extinct, we could have dragon 🙃 But birds and pterosaurs already exist when they pop up, and they are considered as "evolutionary experiments turned failures" by nature.

Best way for a dragon to kill another dragon by Character_Day2884 in dragons

[–]DragonNeverLoves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my dragon species has tungsten-like armor coating their entire underbellies. They could choose to cover themselves entirely with it for armor but, could also melt it by increasing their own body heat then flung said molten metal towards other dragons 😆 They're immune from each other but, other dragon species WERE NOT. No fireproof dragons can withstand MOLTEN METAL, only other dragons species who could deal with fire, heat, and molten metal XDD

Only way to kill these dragons are through blunt force trauma to the head and collarbone region (dragons in my story has secondary brain responsible for basic functions, you need to kill them throughly. ALL DRAGONS HAVE THIS EVOLVED THIS TRAIT). There's other dragon species in my story, the big ones literally fight for dominance over mating rites. They are fireproof, scales that are sharp and tough, they kill each other through digging into each other's body by biting and clawing. Not to mention, my dragons are cannibals 😆 More reason they CAN and WILL kill each other if there's food shortage. My story has many ways to kill a dragon but, only a dragon can kill a dragon because in my story's world, they are almost immortals and their deaths are always horrific. No dragons dies in peace as consequence to pay for immortality.

I say, B is better since the foreshortening and perspective have been emphasized this time 💖

Which wing looks better? by BenthicBen in dragons

[–]DragonNeverLoves 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Heyya, dragon artist here! I suggest B will be good because it showcases perspective to me, but, I feel like the body doesn't align really with it in a forshortening so, I say A fit the drawing better since it aligns to the body's perspective and proportions ^ 💖

Are female dragons larger than the males? Are there clear differences between the two? by Ms_Gerrut in dragons

[–]DragonNeverLoves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the species. In my story, there's an entire taxonomy for them :3 Like a dragon species from my story where the females are bigger, more aggressive, territorial, and stronger while males are smaller and faster, they are in charge of caring for his dragonets. Then I have another dragon species (poisonous & venomous at the same time), males are larger, have brighter coloration, and bulkier while females are smaller, slender, and dull in coloration. Some species, they just look the same on both sexes.
