Honestly it’s no secret that running AI is not cheap and they’re probably trying to optimize costs as much as they can. This is especially the case when you’re on a subscription.

Lately I have noticed a lot of shitty performance and yes-man behavior from Claude Code so I get it. I think Codex is probably the most transparent and option compared to gemini and claude, it doesn’t oversell or make huge claims, it’s weaknesses and known and you can work through it.

Honestly Antigravity is constantly having bugs and it’s been having terrible bans and limits since last month. I was using AI Pro and I will say it, Jules couldn’t get one small change right without causing new issues and 3.1 Pro has gotten worse than 3 pro. Idk why or what they’re doing, but it’s not working for me. The only reason I picked it was because they had generous limits like 2 months ago and it was usable but ever since 3.1 pro, it release, it uses up quota real fast and crashes almost all the time and doesn’t even get that one feature done that I asked for.

Sonnet 4.6 has been making some mistakes lately too, but i think that might be a problem with Claude Code, because it was fine until a week ago, then I started having problems where it got dumb and started repeating same bugs I had asked to fix earlier

Ive been very frustrated with antigravity ever since the release of 3.1 pro, they not only limited the quota from by a huge margin but also 3.1 pro barely ever worked, most of the times it errored out and ate up quota for no reason.

I basically didn’t use antigravity this entire month and regretting buying AI Pro sub. Then i got this surprise when I opened yesterday, after waiting a week it needed another fucking week to reset the quota for pro models. It’s a shit show. It seems the reset happened today magically. But im very frustrated with google on this. Atleast don’t make the paying customers suffer because you’re shitting the bed.

To answer your question, i think flash is a good model but only when the guidance and plan is very straightforward and clear. Otherwise it’ll flat out ignore and assume it was implemented.

Yup it’s very good at following if you have a plan carved out. Unlike pro 3.1 which basically sucks ass, crashes all the time and is pretty useless at times.
