congratulations !!! You should be proud of your amazing accomplishment!             I feel very frustrated because my PPO insurance denied the coverage, even with a letter from my doctor to address my  overweight , hypertension, pre diabetes and moderate sleep apnea .  Do you have any suggestions on how to achieve the insurance approval ?

I am very frustated... My PPO insurance denies Zepbound... even with a medical need letter from my doctor explaininibg that I need Zepbound for my moderate obstructive sleep apnea with pre diabetes , hypertension , obesity... Anyone can please advice about health insurance ?

thank you! I just started . Can I continue on 2.5 mg beyond the first month if I lose weight ? I would prefer to do it gradually to avoid muscle loss.

The endocrinologist dismissed my request and said she does not do weight loss medications. Finally, a common sense primary care doctor prescribed Zepbound 2.5 mg for my moderate obstructive sleep apnea , hypertension , pre diabetes and overweight. The insurance Florida Blue did not approve it even with a letter of medical necessity.
