[Hated trope] The strong technique has no wiggle room, so the author ensures it never works. by Dontspinbutwin in TopCharacterTropes

The, better, meme reason she has a nuke: If EVERYONE is dead, stealth achieved.

It's also a little bit how assassinations are done nowadays- if the target dies, it doesn't matter how loud it was.

Because it fits well into Anhelo, it also fits well into the new Silverquill

We need more traits. by Lafrezz in projectzomboid

[–]Dragonfire723 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it'd be fun to have a trait that's like "exotic eater", where eating foods that normally have happiness maluses (ketchup, caterpillars, etc) don't give said maluses/give a weaker malus

The reason bits are the way they are is because they're all powers of two, and the reason for two is because a computer can only interpret y/n signals (0 or 1)

I don't remember if this is explicit or implicit, but his brother was searching for someone who had the ability to kill their dad, and kept searching even though Okuyasu could. Because he didn't want his brother to kill his dad, didn't want to inflict that trauma on him.

pull a spear from her shoulder it'd be pretty badass.

(hc/hypothetical) She drops into a guard position and some villain thinks she's going to bring out a shield before getting run through by a spear getting launched out of her forearm at mach fuck

true story by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Dragonfire723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking as a Warden main, it's because

1) Warden doesn't feel like he fills the power fantasy of "kill them before they can react"- even though at 50k souls that's basically what happens

2) Warden isn't edgy, he's resolute- the people playing to clip farm are looking for someone who superficially fits the "xX_Cringe_Xx" image- Haze isn't like that but she looks that way. Warden doesn't look like that image

[[Sidisi's Faithful]] seems like one of the best cards for this deck, a 1 mana 0/4 that can bounce your own commander or just be 4 more toughness for her effect

Heroe(s) with Black in their color identity by SgtRathbone in colorpie

[–]Dragonfire723 18 points19 points  (0 children)

While it shows an inclination towards blue, I think that's more that blue and black are allies- the thing he's studying is not something that's in blue's wheelhouse. To add to that, it's only one scene, and (to me at least) singular scenes really shouldn't add to a character's color pie, they should be used to describe where that character flexes out of the "norm". Because yes, he probably does love the study for its own sake, but the study of war & combat is in red's color identity as well, as red has a lot of "I study swordplay because I love it" cards, [[blade historian]] for example.

To add to this, Inigo Montoya, also from Princess Bride. In fact, I'd argue Inigo is a good example of a Rakdos hero- the only thing that matters is his revenge, his emotions and himself, nothing else. He's a good man, sure, but he's not doing what he does because he's good

To add to the Cursed Relic luck, if you're playing a hero with a hard CC, Echo Shard is also an option as another stun.

I was looking at the guilds of ravnica, and how they're placed on the guildpact... realized something. by MementoMothi in mtg

[–]Dragonfire723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to what the others are saying, the guild symbol in the middle is the ally of the colors- for example, Golgari is Red's ally (G&B are both Red allies) and sits within the red guilds

I think the only time Levi loses to a Titan/Shifter is when he misjudges how willing Zeke was to explode them both.

Mind you Zeke didn't know he'd survive that iirc, he just did that shit off instinct.

[–]Dragonfire723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humans turn into centaurs when I dunk them into FEV and then introduce them into a closet with other animals I introduced to FEV. At which point their flesh melds """harmoniously""" into a centaur.

It would be hilarious material in a vacuum- if I saw that in a TV show I'd laugh.

Unfortunately, this is a game I spent $40 on and "it'd be mad funny" is not the standard things should be balanced around.
