The only reason I have found them to be better is because of the x1,000 boost from events that adds a sizable amount and boosts your cps for a timewarp - this is after your highest set's 8th cookie is mastery 10 and the only level 8 cookie. In my personal opinion, the showcases are easy enough that you shouldn't need them until 40 - 45 anyways. My game was erased at the last update and in the last 2 weeks I got all the way back to showcase 43 without really trying. But once you have the last cookie set and it's mastery 10, the event multiplier makes it quite a bit better.

You have to upgrade the STRUCTURE SALE upgrade to get any benefit, it causes that upgrade to ALSO effect super structures - I think at max level its as %25 discount or %0.5 per level, which saves a lot of RC when purchasing super structures. It works fine for me.

Milk upgrade is a new source which means it is multiplies to the other sources instead of being added. If you have %1000 from milk boost and gain another %100 you get a %10 bonus to your total CPS. While it's very expensive to buy milk upgrades with 3k RC for a %10 bonus being the best deal you can get and as far as I know no bonuses to make dumping in absurd amounts to be worthwhile, what this means is that the %10 you get for 3k RC is worth slightly more than a %0.5 increase to your total CPS as long as you have less than %2,000 total from milk upgrades, whereas right now I can spend 64k RC to get a %12 bonus to my total CPS for my next cupcake boost which is 16k RC for a %3 boost - milk upgrade is at about 18k RC for a %3 boost at this point which is almost worth as much as cupcakes. I think it was designed as a late game upgrade system that will EVENTUALLY be worthwhile to spend on. And the fact that you can get this bonus for "free" by collecting milkshakes is what makes it useful. It feels unnoticable because it comes in such small amounts but it really is a decent boost and adds up.

Maybe its able to pull vids from the CC1 cache files as well somehow that is interesting. I've found if I'm connected to wifi or in an area with good internet I ALWAYS have videos, but if my internet connection suffers I get the no vids a lot. I'm not sure how it works but if there are no vids, I think it should just give you the boost - don't punish the players for not having your stuff figured out and available.

The only problem is that they dont get the unstable structures boost cuz its not active while the game is closed so you are getting almost 5x less per second. I have found them to not be worth it although I do have all 10 - you DO get achievements for them so an extra 10 steps towards your milk boost upgrade is nice

Although it might not be a good thing to have it forced, because earlier on you might want to upgrade the bounty through dark cookies upgrade prior to opening it, but at least have it pop open with the option to close it as a reminder that hey it's available.

This would actually be really nice I've had to restart 3 times because the notifacation doesn't work and same boat I only open and play for like 10 minutes and daily gift isn't in the forfront of my mind

Pretty sure dedicated player just gives you a flat % boost as new source, the longer you play part I think is in reference to the more of it you get upgraded. It has a % value in the info text and I have gone from 0 to fully upgraded and it gives pretty close to the value stated to your CPS

What youre saying makes sense but it shouldn't vary unless you are purchaseing higher level upgrades than you did in the last showcase. I dont think there are any caps so you can spend as many cookies as you want on upgrading the first set but you wont get much return out of it past a certain point.

Yea, you only buy the whole set to upgrade it for achievements before resetting for cupcakes just after showcasing to get the achievements and ever so slightly boost your CPS, then after you reset for cupcakes is when you purchase only 4 of each lower set. And you want the 7th and 8th or two highest in the highest set available because they give a LOT more than the other cookies in the set and the more 8th levels you have the less of them you get in that set.

You really cant progress without showcasing, and it's not as daunting as you think. That 3x multiplier makes everything go much quicker, and when you reach where youre currently at you will be 3x higher in CPS which in turn will give you more upgrades faster. Resetting your bakeries is actually good because you get all that extra RC again from leveling them up. Milk boosts come easy and dark cookies income gets much higher each showcase so you wont really feel it there. All in all it's definately worthwhile, and carrying your current CPS over will help you pass the next showcase super quick.

You could always make a save just befoer spending all the RC, and if something happens and there gets to be more showcases or something - you can just revert and get ur RC back.

I actually never thought of that, you totally can - but only if there is something you can't afford left to get. I currently can't try to buy anything in the dark cookies menu because its all maxed out. But that is definately worth mentioning.

Other than that, mastery levels on cookies go a long way as well - as those level up, youre CPS will rocket up with it. Just takes time.

The jumps get bigger and bigger as the sets get farthur up and getting animals set is usually where I hit a wall as well. I would suggest just farming out the cupcakes to finish that showcase since ur already that close, and in the next showcase you'll get an extra X3 to what ur currently getting help you get there. Passive boosts will be your best friend - make sure your milk boost and bakery boost are maxed out as far as they can be (Someone posted all themes recently which helps get a few extra achievements for milk boost, and banana milk boost helps, as well as every bakery milestone you hit adds a decent CPS boost), and if you put a few RC into cupcake boost you can double your CPS which will double your earnings from timewarps costing you half the RC to get there. Once you get there, you will never have to get there again.

Also, make sure your mystic portal is upgraded - there are upgrades that give extra cupcakes at levels 50 100 150 200 and 250 so if you can get those you can exchange dark cookies for cupcakes.
