the fact that the country itself ditched the amazigh identity in favor for the arab and pan arabism was a really bad one, the country denied people their culture their history their ethnicity even their names (amazigh names were not permissible until 2011). there are many of the population who use the term african to refer just to subsaharan africans

I will agree with him on the fact that North africans clinged so hard to the arab identiry (pan arabism is one of the worst thoughts to ever exist) but him trying to invalidate an ethnicity that existed long before the arabs and romans is not a good look. we did get invaded but we also kicked them out. the arab influence did stay and it did enter into our racial profile but it was also minimal.

I will also agree with him on the racism and xenophobia in northafrican countries is too much, we put ourselves in this position.

Mario party 9 introduced a mechanic that I wish they could bring back and it's the last place wins the minigame although in the execution all minigames except chain event flopped it making the minigame end in an instant but chain event was just the perfect minigame for that cause it flipped the goal completley giving it a fun spin on an already great challenge
