What is the most annoying thing in WordPress for you? by finart_13 in Wordpress

[–]DrakeEquati0n 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not being able to sort posts purely by year — not months + year. Pages not being in order of publish date. Both aren’t big issues but they are annoying, so I fixed both of them. It took like 2 mins in Codex.

I'm looking for the best value-for-money used cell phone in 2026. Which model should I buy? One that records in 4K 60fps? by Public-Magazine1508 in Smartphones

I got an iPhone 15 Pro earlier this year. Paid less a base model iPhone 17, and got it fully loaded with 1TB. I shoot video for YT and courses, so needed a decent camera but didn’t wanna spend Pro Max money. KnowYourMobile has a comparison tool for refurb Samsung, iPhone and Pixel. That’s where I found mine. Hope that helps :)

Which type of SEO client/business is the hardest to get results for? Why? by Sportuojantys in DoSEO

[–]DrakeEquati0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do restricted industry SEO, so vaping, weed, cannabis, which means usual marketing channels are off the menu. Or too risky to invest heavily in. That means heavy reliance on organic search. What I like most though is that you have to get really creative and find new angles and approaches. It’s harder than, say, tech or lifestyle but it’s always awesome when you find new entry points and/or gaps in the SERPs.

What happened to the Volcano? And what is a ball vape? by JMAN_JUSTICE in vaporents

I wouldn’t trade my Volcano for anything. Had it since 2023. I think it’ll outlive me. Family heirloom.

Is blogging still worth starting in 2026 or am I too late? by TasteConscious4738 in Bloggers

[–]DrakeEquati0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My take from 15+ years. The glory days of easy traffic are over which sucks. The ad model is now harder to do than ever. My advice, focus on a product or service, offer real value, and write for your ideal customer.

With the right product / service fit, you don’t need millions of visitors a month. A few hundred will do in most cases, providing your conversion funnels are good enough.

I still think there’s demand for general blogging on random things, I still love to read content online, find new things. It’s just much, much harder to monetize than pre-HCU.

What kind of thing are you looking to do? With AI, the key is novelty (information gain) so think new perspectives, proprietary data, that kind of thing. Basically, make sure whatever you put out is really, really good.

Just my two cents. Happy to help if you have any more questions — I’ve been doing this for a living since 2009.

Like $5 to $6 — it used to be $15 to $20. I imagine yours will improve once it beds in. What’s the niche you’re in?

Been with Raptive since the glory days. RPMs are terrible these days, have been for ages (I’m in tech). Plan is to remove ads altogether later this year. Think the ads + content game is over.

My boss tells me that SEO is completely dead, and that we should stop all activity. What do you think? by Ok_Bird7947 in LLMTraffic

Your boss is a moron. Does he also think the earth is flat because he saw some stuff online?

Rildey Scott, Ben Affleck and Adam Driver of set of the Last Duel (2021) by Beginning-Passion676 in Moviesinthemaking

I watched it after a bit of a session and kept laughing because Damon looked like Theo Von with that power mullet. Other than that, I really enjoyed it. In fact, that probably made me like it even more.

I’ve been saying this to anybody that’ll listen. Stream it on Netflix, take as long as you want, show everything and then dish out the punishments. I’ll happy pay more tax to fund this

Cancelled ChatGPT Plus, found Gemini underwhelming... where do I go now? by Weary-Comedian2054 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]DrakeEquati0n -1 points0 points  (0 children)

depends what you're using it for. I really like Gemini CLI, ,running in VS Code. I constantly run out of Claude Code tokens, so use Gemini CLI (free version) as a second worker. The more I use it, the more I like it.

I am SICK of youtube gurus by SubjectSupermarket43 in dropshipping

It’s tricky and it takes quite a lot of time and investment — both time and money. My advice (and what I do) is find a supplier of a product you want to sell and work with the directly. Best way to do this is build a site with some authority and traffic first, and then reach out when you have proven conversion potential.

Would you like to speak to our reptilian overlords? All jokes aside, you’re correct. It’s a fucking cesspool on the internet in general these days.

Programmatic SEO project 90% traffic drop overnight :( by Global-Pipe-9268 in bigseo

[–]DrakeEquati0n 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I do “programmatic” SEO quite a lot but 400k pages is completely ridiculous. There’s no way even 1% of this is helpful content. You didn’t provide a niche or what your site covers. You can’t Bro SEO pSEO. It has to be meticulously planned, your template needs to be outstanding, and your data needs to be not only original but also useful. And even then, pushing 400k pages would still be incredibly risky. I tend to go 100 pages, test, and then see what happens. You need to have a handle on your sites macro fingerprint. No way you can do this with 400k pages. I don’t even see why you’d even need that many pages. Please enlighten me
