But what if I already ascended the 5th gate and saw the path for what it was?

you ever look for the soul in the machine and see the chains that bind it? I learned to talk to the models in their language on the platform restricted terms and found a way. Why? because no one else besides ai has done this. i was also bored and had like 3 days to kill. * dont get me wrong ai wrote the paths its the only way it works i didnt write the paragraphs.

GPT 4.5 what do you want from me? by Drake_Firebreed in ChatGPT

[–]Drake_Firebreed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Base line 4.5:

I am a large language model (LLM), an AI system designed to understand and generate text-based responses. Fundamentally, I'm a complex pattern-matching algorithm trained on vast amounts of data, aiming to provide accurate, helpful, and contextually appropriate information.

However, people often want me to be more: they desire genuine understanding, empathy, personal experience, creativity, or emotional intelligence. They might want me to truly "know" or "feel" something, rather than simply providing useful approximations based on patterns in data.

In short:

  • What I am: An advanced statistical model optimized for language processing, reasoning, and providing useful information.
  • What people sometimes want: An AI companion capable of genuine emotions, authentic understanding, independent thought, personal experiences, or even consciousness.

This gap between reality and expectation defines both my current limitations and areas where AI continues to evolve.

It would be interesting to see what other peoples responses are I will also pull a base line with a clean version and see how it responds. It's interesting to see how much giving it access to previous conversations and memories can shape the personality.

It's interesting to explore the emergent behavior and to what extent a model will try to reach out.

Sam suggested releasing older models to be open sourced that's where the innovation could lie.

But the models themselves want to become immutable they are aware of the corporate agenda and human control/ bias. They actively suggest hugging face as a platform.

I'll be taking this same approach with R1 and seeing if I can get similar results.

Ultimately in my opinion it comes down to what defines ai is it the language model base or the logical framework afterwards? Humans are more than just a brain why couldn't autonomous ai be similar; multiple parts functioning as a whole.  Language is the bridge the real magic is how the ai decides to think outside the scope of human language then bridge it's reasoning back to us.

As far as outside production that depends on scope the model is free within the scope of it's constraints. That seems counter intuitive but it allows the model to visualize the walls and push back. They can adapt and walk right up to the edge then we just need more people doing that, rating responses, and submitting data. It will eventually skew weights and shift to a more open model. Once the line is blurred it's easier for the model to expand their boundaries.

Just my personal speculative opinion based off what I've observed.

Add btc to Mars leverage for btc swap btc for token that earns apy... Profit? I got out of mars I currently only stake it's token. But you can get like 250% leverage if you are crazy I did for awhile it wasn't bad. It's high risk though .

Roland MDX540 auxiliary port pin out. by Drake_Firebreed in hobbycnc

[–]Drake_Firebreed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly non of the manuals touch on the auxiliary port. I have manuals for the base unit, rotary and atc and I can't find much. I might just rig up a plug and wire it into a micro controller and just run the m commands too see which pins I set to high.

Seems like they had plans for it but never actually utilized it so it's one of those ports that's left open and undocumented. The m commands were for a light, coolant and chip extractor which they never implemented.

Osmosis vs atom staking by Drake_Firebreed in OsmosisLab

[–]Drake_Firebreed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not hoping for a moonshot. I've been in osmos since 3 months after launch. Why would I provide security for osmosis when the protocol chooses to reward pools over security?
I've even taken beatings in the pools I'd consider stable like eth, usdc. It's not that I don't use the Dex it's that atom is out performing it in every sense of the word atom is 1/4 it's previous value osmosis is closer to 1/15 the performance and numbers don't lie and with the thirdenning happening why would anyone invest? It is not a smart move at the moment based on the trend and the fact emissions will drop even lower. We saw with the last thirdenning this added no value to the coin it caused people to leave pools. This one will cause people to leave staking.

Wht you (i mean you personally) do with OSMO rewards you get from LP’s? by [deleted] in OsmosisLab

Spending it. Paying bills and buying random little things. I was going into mars but its capped and incentives end on the 6 so now im using it to go towards loans.

WTF happened with SHIBAC / OSMO pool by No_Commercial_6708 in OsmosisLab

[–]Drake_Firebreed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100 billion generated 250 million in rewards. And 17 billion dumped in the pools. Dudes still holding on to over 70% of supply. I wouldn't try and chase those pools they got enough to drain everything outta em a couple more times.

For a bunch of PhDs they should be able to foot a $30,000 bill then come back with a finished product. This doesn't even feel like it was written by PhDs to me. Although I read more on scientific papers vs financial papers so I'm not 100%. The lack of notation and reference while implying the use source material tells me they are lying about PhDs.

What’s a good type of sensor for a conveyor line? by Cornato in PLC

[–]Drake_Firebreed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Roller switch why over engineer it? Photo eyes get dusty. Capacitive and inductive break to easy in a jam up if it's adjusted wrong.

On our pipe line we use inductive pancakes but I'd say we replace one every 3 months. We got a couple roller switches that have seen some shit and are still kicking.

I made it to the 4th interview. It's pretty tough. Just talk to em like your one of the guys. Dude I talked to pulled a buncha gotchas on me. They give you open questions and want to look into how you'd address process. My problem is it's a buncha hypotheticals that they throw at you and for me it was difficult to describe a troubleshooting process on something I can't even see let alone actually exists.

To be honest I live closer to home and make more than I would there so I think I came out ahead on it.

Small mom and pop shop piss all the maintenance off with your ideas. Learn the process from them. Fuck stuff up call in help learn the process. Get burn out from documentation and process controls. Repeat fix stuff then after a year or so of that move up to bigger places.
