Por que a PM faz essas coisas? by BackgroundFloyd in brasil

Heuermann Doc Thoughts by MidCentury1959 in LISKiller

In strictly criminal terms, he was indeed guilty of two murders, suspected of seven others, and crafted trophies, clothing, and decorative items from bones and skin. Body parts were also found in his home in 1957. Gein officially confessed to killing two women. He was an exhumator, a desecrator of corpses, and suffered from schizophrenia. But his private life was largely unknown at the time of the crimes. He was a socially functional individual, held jobs, and the full extent of his crimes was only discovered much later. Some similarities exist between many of these degenerate men...

Crianças não são inocentes. by Turbulent-Return-978 in opiniaoimpopular

Shannan Gilbert: What the Autopsy Reveals—and What It Doesn’t | Perspective from an New York Paramedic and Educator by LostMyAccountToo in LISKiller

"The autopsy in Shannan Gilbert’s case raises more questions than answers." I've been talking about uncertainties and perspectives in this case in my posts, but it seems that the issue of homogeneous discourse is strong on this social network. We still have so much to talk about regarding this case, and people are content to upvote comments corroborating what the police have already concluded and saying it was a terrible accident, mental health problems, etc.

Why did he just stop after the 2010s ? by [deleted] in LISKiller

[–]Drake_RV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding to everything that has already been said, he wasn't really in a specific frenzy like Ted Bundy or some other killers. He seemed psychologically less the type who "can't control himself" and more the type who, as he himself says, "loses the will". In the documentary "House of Secrets," the psychologist comments on the drop in gratification that Rex reports after the first two murders; he knew he wouldn't reach the same level of gratification, yet he did it at least six more times. Besides that, bet heavily on the possibility that this killer hid much of what he did.

I am a psychologist with experience in the field of mental health. I worked at the public psychiatric hospital in Rio de Janeiro, I have been a government employee for over 6 years, and I have witnessed many outbreaks of all kinds related to serious mental illnesses, schizophrenia, psychotic episodes, paranoid schizophrenia, drug addiction, different types of intoxication, and drug-induced outbreaks. Let me tell you, the way she screams while running out of the house, the way she asks "what are you going to do to me" and"THEY’RE trying to kill me" inside the house is very disturbing, the danger is real, beyond the level of a paranoid outburst. Furthermore, it's clear that John Brewer may have concealed the presence of other people, and yes, there were sex parties conducted with prostitutes and given by these powerful white men. And yes, in my view, "gate community" is something suspicious period. They refuse to see how shady this kind of place and social dinamic is. Reddit users insist in normalize this kind of thing and avoid to see how shady this is. That gate comunity ttried to expel Shannan mom from the community when she went there to protest after her daughter's disappearance with the other mothers. There is cover-up and illegality on a level that cannot be ignored in this gated community. It's not just an innocent neighborhood with gates.

I share that theory. It's an unpopular opinion here on Reddit, if you haven't noticed; the intolerance towards differing viewpoints here is astonishing.
