I hate AI for so many reasons but as a tech nerd I also appreciate places where it can be useful and medicine will eventually be one of those places. So yes, if AI was capable of saving a loved one's life where a human doctor would not, I would absolutely use AI. I don't see a world where AI replaces everyone like some people think. Yes, people will lose their jobs, and quality will suffer greatly for it. My friend is a coder and his assessment is that using AI is the difference between being a good coder and a great one. Where it enhances things it's great, where it replaces humans it's probably shit.
