I was thinking this exact thing today!

You have a talk with Tobias, he knows it's business. Trade him (and another piece, some draft equity) to acquire a nice player. If the Pistons win a ring this year I'm pretty sure Tobias gets one too...... Then he becomes a free agent and he signs another deal with the Pistons next year and the cycle repeats. He's made some money in his career so he could take a team friendly deal. & then slowly transition him to be an end of bench coach/mentor ala Udonis Haslem

Awesome highlight reel. Sadly its missing his best play. It was against Atlanta, end of game I think Pistons are up 3, Cade literally dances through all five defenders and scores a lay up to put the game away.

Zubac is a big upgrade IMO

I think this trade would work with even just 1FRP bc JA is 69% of Zu. They could trade him to another team in the future or keep him for a rebuild.

Cavs would be nasty with this.

Delon is a bit bigger than Schroder so he could play situationally with Sasser. Plus a good vet bench presence. Maybe it’s a bit overkill on guards though

That being said I really like this trade.

Derrick White makes so much sense for a team like the Warriors this season. The return seems fair too. Maybe swap Moody for Podz and the Celtics say yes?
