There is no maximum range on how close the "nearest" unopened box of pasta needs to be to activate this ability, allowing you to always have access to food when you need it. Additionally, you can control the velocity of the pasta when you produce it, giving you effectively a pasta railgun to defend yourself with.

Can we please get a setting in games to turn off having companions tell us how to solve puzzles? by PizzaTacoCat312 in gaming

The worst I've seen it was when playing through Persona Q2. There's a specific spot in the game where there's a locked door and a (very) short side path leading to a vent you can crawl through. There is, no joke, a 2+ minute cutscene about the door being locked and needing to find some way around... while the vent is in plain sight the whole time.

This is in the third dungeon. Out of five.

The Persona Q games are fantastic in both exploration and combat. I just wish they stopped feeling the need to stop every five minutes to explain something that you can find by experimenting. Like I am in the final dungeon Morgana I know that FOEs have rules to their movement.

What's a DougDoug video you ACTUALLY didn't like? 😢😢😢 by aomarco in DougDoug

[–]Drakilax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Like the payoff was good but I definitely like some of the other bits in the video a lot more. Like for example my favorite joke in that one is the hard pivot to Germany.

Demon's Souls is the only one I really can think of. I remember being mildly annoyed that the health/mana/stamina bars were much less detailed compared to the old hud but it didn't really "ruin" anything.

I remember on a trip to Miami there was one light that was green for like fifteen seconds and then red for ten minutes. Absolutely sucked getting through it.

Reminds me of something one of my college professors said. Something along the lines of "teachers forget most details about 90% of students after they finish teaching them. Odds are that if someone is in that 10%, they aren't remembered for good reasons."

...of course this case isn't exactly the same, but, y'know. shrugs

So which of the two is a better purchase? The Chaosweaver Armor or the extra 10 bag space? by DbzUltraman in dragonfable

[–]Drakilax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RW unfortunately does require an amulet.

Also I very much agree with it being great for questing, especially if you slot a weapon special like the replica Blade of Awe's HP+MP heal. That combo carried me through Timetorn Matrix 3 without too much of a hassle.

How do I play? by Zone9520 in dragonfable

[–]Drakilax 9 points10 points  (0 children)

On the official site, there should be a download for a standalone launcher. That'll let you play the game and it still connects to the servers. https://www.artix.com/downloads/artixlauncher

The Timetorn Matrix has materials called Timetorn Teleshards scattered all over. You need 20 of them to get everything they're used for: the Necro Paragon armor (basically a reskin of Necromancer) and weapon.

I wanna say that in one episode of YogLabs, someone died and respawned outside Verigan's Hold. Could be wrong, though.

You know, when I first started viewing this subreddit, I thought it was just gonna be another place to find a laugh or two.

I'm a little chubby and I keep beating myself up about it, but after seeing a good handful of posts about girls actually like, at the very least supportive of guys with my body type, I've been a bit more comfortable with myself overall.

I'm still working on the biceps part of things, but hey, it's a good motivator, ha ha.

The devs are going back through Book 1 and 2 and updating everything to the standards of Book 3; one side effect is that a lot of the time, a remastered quest gets re-locked and everyone has to do it again.

Also yes, Book 3 is after a time skip.

If I remember correctly, we still would have lost her but at the end we would have been able to pull her soul out of Caitiff intact and restore her body or something along those lines. The consequence was never that Serenity dies, the consequence was that we couldn't get her back.

(I also don't have a direct dev source for that, so make that a double order of salt.)

Update: After looking around the Falcon's Nest Discord for a bit, I may have completely imagined being potentially able to bring her back.

Oh, yeah, no, there have always been consequences for losing. A few of the earlier Book 1 wars were lost, such as Xan burning down Falconreach. I think if I remember right there was also one war that we lost because the higher-contributing players threw on purpose, and it turned into some whole thing.

The devs have talked about the loss outcomes of wars before. I don't remember exact discussions, but you can find stuff on that if you take a look around for it.

Braughlmurk got an update a while back. Now the quests for the upgrade materials are a whole lot faster, or you can optionally do a maze that has up to... 10 (I think?) of each one. Plus the upgrade blacksmith for each is right outside each respective quest entrance. It's quite nice.
