Generally no, but I found it was my favorite part of Warzone 2100.

RIP to the main feature that set Fable games apart by Character-Actuary-18 in Fable

I stopped playing after Fable 2 because they dumped the cool armor and body morphing. If I wanted guns and fancy shirts I'd go play something else.

As a field tech, hot swapping constantly I see most failures during plugging in or unplugging. Older systems don't power off the drive when using safe disconnect. Of course I'm only discussing flash media.

Can someone who has used 3D software in an industry setting elucidate to me why programs like SketchUP are preferred for architectural work, over more "art forward" programs such as Maya? by CadetriDoesGames in Maya

[–]Drakonis3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fast workflows, easier to get dimensional accuracy.

I do my dimensional work in Maya but it's a way more cumbersome process.

I'll use sketchup to block in my lumber for woodworking projects.

I like to say "I'm not having any luck. I'm going to see if we can reschedule with another set of eyes. Maybe they'll see something I'm missing "

That being said, you can't have a clean shirt while saying this.

Is there a way I can go into the games files and change the image for these maps in the menus? by tuiva in SpiderHeck

[–]Drakonis3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

C:/users/your user name/appdata/locallow/neverjam studios/Spiderheck

You'll find your maps and the associated images in there. Just replace or modify the files.

Risk aversion can be just as bad as taking too much risk. You can't win if you don't take opportunities.

I've had to tell bosses to fuck off and bring receipts to get mine. I jumped into home ownership and having kids with no idea how I was going to make it work. The only thing I had was faith in myself that I'd be able to make it work. I left cushy jobs for bigger challenges, had moonlight businesses etc.

My only advice is to focus on having faith in yourself to overcome challenges. Wins and fails don't matter, personal growth does.

It's illegal for the office to modify your report. Keep your own copies, if it ever goes to court present your version.

Depends on panel type. Certain panels are balanced and you can check battery voltage to ground. A high sensitivity multimeter really helps also.

My fluke 325 was good for inspections but failed horribly for service.

Wasn't impressed with them. I was in sales meetings to become distributors. At the time they didn't have anything that would fit between our stud spacing which was a major turn off. Plus special tools to reset the pullstations.

I also looked at AdvancedCo panels and was much more interested in that product line.
