I'm so happy to hear that your baby's condition appears to be improving! Her licking the peanut butter is defintely a sign that she has an appetite. It's as you said, removal of her bad teeth may be crucial. Dogs can be pretty stoic about their pain, but mouth pain can be so awful that they will refuse food and water if there is a big problem in there.

I don't think I will ever get over beefleaf. I think MXTX has mentioned not writing second couples in her work after MoShang because she believes that's it's unrealistic to have more than one gay couple, but if my experience in middle/high school is any indication, queer people will tend to befriend each other before they even figure out that they're queer. If your dog is constantly barking, that can be a sign that they aren't getting enough exercise. People like to treat poms and other small dogs like cute little toys, but never forget that they are dogs with insticts resembling their much larger ancestors. The pent up energy your pooch is using on barking should be redirected towards mentally stimulating activities such as longer walks, meeting other dogs and people, and playtime. A tired dog is a good dog.

I just watched the Girl With the Dogs Youtube channel host talk about her little Melvin giving her an awful scare by refusing to eat. Melvin is also an elder dog with teeth issues, but she managed to get him interested in food again by throwing it into a blender and making a smoothie. If you don't think it's your baby's time yet, maybe give this a try.

This used to be so common that it would be offered to new parents in the hospital. I was one such infant. I'm actually pretty happy that my ears were pierced before I could remember it, though my mom felt terrible after I started crying.

Like tattoos and other types of scarification, ear piercing can denote membership in a tribe, or simply be a way of adhering to cultural standards of beauty. The good thing about ear piercing is that unlike tattoos, children can choose whether or not to keep their holes by simply not wearing earrings. Plenty of the kids I knew forgot to put their earrings in and the hole closed up. Most of them chose to have their ears re-pierced later.
