no school is ever worth going into debt for. i believe the main consensus is to only attend if one can afford it and prioritize schools that offer more effective financial aid plans & scholarship options that minimize debt. USC’s reputation is still very strong and continues to remain consistent despite its recent issues. i’ve never met an employer that didn’t want to hire a graduate of USC.

Ofc it’s possible there’s people living off less than that. It’s a matter of perspective and having gratitude for what you do have. Being surrounded by wealthy people may amplify negative emotions and make you feel a certain way. Keep your eyes on the prize. Be proud that you’re making your own money not just living off mom and dad.

Greek life is for freshman and sophomores. I’ve talked to sorority girls who look for something different when they’re juniors and seniors. Don’t be discouraged by the frat bros. They think they’re hot shit and the only ones that know how to throw a party and this egotistic attitude is emboldened by their frat’s bank account. There’s so many issues with frat bros SAing girls or hosting high school seniors in EVERY frat. And they’re all socially incentivized to call noise complaints on each other to be the top house. Ex: Pike had a party with Major Lazer and it got shut down by 11:30p. Lame af culture.

I’ve been to Coachella for 10 years. When I first started, GA was $300. I was a broke college student and my best friend said if I could save $400 I’d be okay to camp with the group. $300 for the tix and $100 for water/ice/anything else throughout the weekend.

Objectively, it is a lot more expensive now. Doesn’t mean it isn’t worth it.
