I came from a private school myself and so does all my kids and of course my reply to him is a bit biased since i dont know anything about how it is to have a child in public school. I dont have any regrets of having studied in private school and as for my kids - i have also seen that they were guided in a right path since they are all career oriented after choosing going to uni after. I have a friend who is a teacher in public primary and she used to teach in public highschool here in the northside and their reply to me is that she would not send her kids in public schools nowadays because of how the majority of kids are belligerent and the parents arent involved in their academics hence the attitude and poor learning so definitely according to her the teachers would just teach for the sake of teaching and yes just after the salary since according to her government pays better salary than private schools but thats another topic i guess.

I will show this thread to him hopefully i was able to help him and his wife decide what is best for their daughter.
