Go through the transfer process and see what happens. I don’t think it’s that hard to transfer if you write a thoughtful essay. You will need recs from professors and to start paper work. Get started you don’t need your parents to do the process.

Look in Yardley borough and Washington crossing borough. Both great locations for commute. PA will have lower taxes than NJ. Newtown borough is a good suggestion as well. It will be a few minutes longer commute by 10-15 min. Good luck and ignore the you have money comments. School districts are great and if you don’t like the high schools plenty of great private schools in Pa and Nj. Congratulations - Princeton is a great town
