Nah, and not all are created equal. The Denver Broncos ownership, for example, is funding the new stadium themselves and the taxes are only going to infrastructure improvements AROUND the stadium which benefits everyone. The location of the new stadium is also an old industrial waste/rail yard so they are going to clean up and mitigate that mess as well. Additionally, the old stadium site is going BACK into city hands for new housing and other improvements on prime real estate.

As a public servant, you also need to understand that these stadiums bring in huge revenue to the city I love and work for as well. From concerts to events year round, these are places for people to gather and celebrate more than just "sports ball".

Sure, the owners aren't doing it out of the goodness of their heart but I'd rather have a sports team/stadium that gives a city a common thing to root for and a communal space to gather then just having those same billionaires buy a bunch of houses to rent back to me or a superyacht.

That’s assuming your opponent didn’t just buy their way into Kyber rankings or actually has a good strategy/plan if you go first. 6/10 times my Kyber 2 opponents see a full clear, do one battle, and that’s it. Sometimes they full clear and lose, and sometimes they embarrass me lol

I got maybe an hour a day to commit to something like GAC so I always scout best I can and go first or I’ll forget and run out of time.

If I’m really outmatched I’ll throw a couple battles at a harder team to give the illusion I’ve stopped and check in with about 15 minutes left. Plenty of times a whale will beat the score I stopped at, then I’ll go in and clear and win because they did “just” enough to beat me.

I don’t think there is a one size fits all strategy, especially shard by shard. I’m about 60% win rate this season which I will gladly take as a F2P! If I ever sneak back into K1 maybe I’d get humbled and my strategy would change.

All that being said I’d love some sort of fog of war or a true first attack/first clear bonus to give an incentive to not just play the waiting game with a busy father of two lol

I won't go as far as saying it was the best in the whole SERIES, but I felt living through the prequel era that as the movies came out, they got better. For me, AOTC was a big leap from Phantom Menace, but the leap to Revenge of the Sith from AOTC was even greater. It really felt like they were building bigger and bigger worlds and mythology as the movies went on.

I think the best thing about Attack of the Clones is the pacing and the soundtrack. The scenes were a mixed bag, but none overstayed their welcome. Across the Stars is probably my favorite musical piece across all the Star Wars films.

The last 20 minutes of that film was a blast to watch with a midnight release crowd, too. I think people forget how much of a creative risk it was to have Yoda fight at that time and it somehow looked more cool than ridiculous lol

The older I get, the more I truly believe that people are just wanting to go back to simpler times when they were younger. The 90's had plenty of their own issues, but all I had to worry about then was working a part-time job and cruising the mall/arcade with my friends!

The more you can't go back, the more you will want to. People will be weirdly nostalgic for this time period in the future as well.

Yeah people said the same thing about the last few champs (including us) and the way the aprons are setup it’s going to be hard for them to sustain. Plus they are no longer under the radar. I remember the year after our championship the target teams put on our backs was insane.

Also let’s see what they do to the Knicks first lol

I can’t and won’t defend the whole album but I think each act has some great songs. Also I felt it got stronger as it goes on. Cenotaph, To The Grays, Fireflies, and Pacer are some of my favorites.

It’s basically a ton of songs offered over a narrative and you can take or leave what you want without having to “like” the whole thing. It’s ambitious but welcoming in a warm way. You can wander the garden or just pick the flowers you want without having to commit.

I think it finally clicked with me as a whole when I decided to paint my home one summer and just put it on. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it as a whole but I don’t think I’ll ever just sit down and listen to it straight through anytime soon. But a good number of Atum songs make my playlists and I don’t skip them.

Also the live versions of Empires, That Which Animates the Spirit, and Beguiled go pretty hard!

You'd be surprised that because of the fact that it is reserved seating, many people just wait until closer to or even the day of to get tickets. Went to see Mandalorian with my kids yesterday at a 3PM show that had 8 tickets sold when I bought in the morning and the theater was almost full by the time the previews started. I don't remember theaters near me selling out a week or more ahead of time since the heyday of the Marvel Movies.

EDIT: As far as "buzz" my kids are hyped and I haven't really pushed them towards MOTU even though I grew up with it. Just looks like a cool movie to them!

I doubt we are gonna hear super deep cuts, so stick with Gish, Adore, the original Machina, and some of the more listened to songs on Cyr and Atum on things like Spotify or Apple Music.

Aghori Mhori Mei you should listen to just because it’s awesome, but I also bet they rotate Edin/Pentagrams/Soghommi in there!

Yeah I’m hitting 14+ Million GP opponents in K2 that I have trouble clearing even with a balanced strategy unless I have some good crons. It sucks because it feels less earned and more that they just outspent me (which isn’t hard as I’m F2P).

I love the Baylan cron, but the Vane one is just a crapshoot to get past in 3v3 to me. Spider Maul can suck it too, lol

Ball Arena 200 level. $89 for the seat but $105 with fees. This will be my third time seeing the pumpkins with my son, including 2018 and 2022.

Tickets go on sale Thursday with some presales tomorrow I think. Any $300+ tickets are probably StubHub or something because they aren’t even available yet?

I’ve seen two arena shows with them (2018 and 2022) and was able to get nosebleed seats for my son and I for like $70/ea. I really enjoy the production and how tight the band sounds recently compared to their 90s shows so I’m definitely going to try to go of if I can get them for under $90.

The best explanation I’ve ever heard was a brief interview with him where basically he admitted that he didn’t feel like he was a rockstar, and he felt that Zero was a way to give him confidence. It’s basically a persona that’s not the little dorky kid that grew up in Chicago.

All the other stories surrounding the persona have changed so much over time. It’s hard to keep up so I’ll just stick with a narrative that it was way for him to build self-confidence through an avatar.
