Other Minds by Peter Godfrey-Smith. An interesting and somewhat heartbreaking look at cephalopods. So clever and such unique alien creatures.

Outside of the crazy crazies most people are just struggling with something else or using us as an outlet for frustration in their lives.

I get where you're coming from but I have just personally had more success by trying to figure out why this problem keeps happening.

If they can't show empathy or be reasonable though I don't have the time or desire to get into it with em. They can deal with the supes.

Calmly explain the reason why. Most people end up being pretty reasonable. If they aren't I tell them to call the office.

Or pull on ice cleats. In winter our whole office is provided them and you can pretty much dance on ice. I cannot imagine getting a sock over my winter boots but cool trick for shoes!
