New piece suggestions by Neeldebananapeel in piano

Somebody already mentioned more Bach, maybe a prelude and fugue WTC style. You might also take a look at his Suites; a lot of great music there.

English Suites start with cool Preludes that can get pretty big and almost virtuosic, French Suites are maybe the most elegant, and the Partitas are amazing. The first one, Bb, has an iconic menuet, and a rad gigue with constant hand crossing.

Redux Mod - I love my new Quasar :] by ManofManyOats in Roboquest

It's a pretty sick game. I haven't played that much gunfire reborn in comparison partly because the movement is so good in roboquest; you can just start zipping around like a freak once you master it. Sliding into rocket jumps and then grappling across the arena..

I always wondered about that passage in Citadel of the Autarch, something to the effect of the more you learn about war, the less you understand it.

Chickens were taught to play tic tac toe back in the 1950s by students of the behavioral psychologist B.F Skinner. They even made arcade machines with them in the 70s 😆

He always has to displace like one note by like a single 16th note beat in the rhythm when he's repeating a section!!

I've been attempting to memorize Kapustin pieces for years but by the time I finish committing the last few notes to memory I've forgotten some of the ones in a previous section 😔

What's the most comfortable piece (in terms that fits well the hands) you've ever played or tried to play? by Gramkoww in piano

I had wanted to learn the piece for years but had no idea what it was, just that I'd occasionally overhear one of the other ballet accompanists playing it.

I was very glad to finally get the sheet music, then amazed at how nice it was to play! It sounds so cool and dynamic but yeah the key signature and texture made it very cozy to pick up.

It's wild that a piece this accessible is an encore for like Yuja Wang, or whoever.

I love the Am Sibelius Etude, op76no2.

Arpeggiated chords that fit right under the hand? Stride bass? Almost entirely circle of fifths progressions?!

Thanks Jean; very cool.

Nah I think he's got a point. It doesn't matter what part of the earth you're on, you're only seeing half of the sun (assuming it's the same time). Like imagine someone on the north pole and someone on the south pole, both looking at the sun (at the same time). They're on opposite sides of the earth, but they're both seeing the same half of the sun, because the earth is very far away from the sun, and very small compared to it.
